New Direction is in receipt of *** ***’s complaint. Upon receipt of the complaint a New Direction representative immediately contacted *** *** to see if her concerns could be resolved. After speaking with *** ***, New Direction believes that it would have been able to
assist her better in resolving her Discover account had she provided more information to New Direction at the time she learned of the lawsuit. That said New Direction was concerned with *** ***’s dissatisfaction. *** *** has since been provided with a full refund of fees that she paid to the company that provided her credit harassment mitigation servicesFurther New Direction has fully settled *** ***’s remaining Sears/Citi Bank credit card*** *** advised New Direction that she was satisfied with the outcome. As such we request that the Revdex.com conclude this matter as resolved

New Direction was unable to settle his debt in this short amount of timeAs such, New Direction (ND) did not charge a fee for their servicesUpon enrollment, ND customers are advised during the program that their creditors can file legal action against them which is something also clearly disclosed to Mr***Mr*** was provided with a full refund of all deposits made into his program on August 22, Mr*** advised he was satisfied with the outcome. As such we request that the Revdex.com conclude this matter as resolved

I am rejecting this response because:1. No contact was ever made with any of my creditors by telephone, only by faxes sent! Because of this non-professional service I incurred a court judgement by one of my creditors. 2. Further they kept on telling me not to worry everything would be "just fine" which was a blatant lie! 3. I demanded a refund in full of all monies paid into the program and took me 6 days to get my money back! Because of this business I am not forced into a bankruptcy which I am currently going through! I would like to leave this complaint on "open status" so New prospective clients can make an informed choice before dealing with them!

We are in receipt of your letter dated August 25, 2014 regarding the above...

Mr. [redacted], enrolled into our TSR complaint, no advance fee debt relief program. During his enrollment, we discussed the program which is a debt settlement program, not a debt consolidation program. We also discussed his monthly set aside savings payments. The client executed our agreement and completed a compliance recording in which he verbally agreed that he understood the program.
We contacted Mr. [redacted] regarding this complaint on September 3, 2014. We went over the program and his concerns. We have arranged for a full reversal of payments made into his dedicated savings account to be returned to him. Mr. [redacted] was happy with the resolution and stated he would be retracting his complaint filed against our company.
We believe this should resolve all concerns in this matter.

I spoke with a Debt Analyst there who was extremely professional and considerate. He was very proficient and did his work with integrity. He was very thorough and worked to enroll me. I did not enroll in the program but after dealing with him I felt that his skills and demeanor were of excellent capacity. The company was not overly pushy with a sales pitch and withdrew in a graciously professional manner when I decided not to take the offer. Great skills and customer service. Great program. If I need the program I would call them up.

my first conversation, last November, with New Direction in which they did tell me of the $210./month for first three months, then $60./mo thereafter to Consumer Justice Ctr for legal assistance, and the $9.95/month to Global Client Solutions (escrow service) which I saw on the agreement and thought sure, that's ok.     I had not remembered all that. She talked a bit fast for me, and sometimes my hearing isn't that good, and after each question for agreement, I was just saying, "Yes."   It was me.    This Debt Settlement action was all new to me and was a big step, as I was overwhelmed with credit card debt, and hated paying so much interest, and any relief was welcome, maybe I was in a daze.    Also I learned of more work the Consumer Justice Ctr did/does for me that I was not aware of.    For these reasons, I wished I hadn't made this complaint and would like to withdraw it.
