First of all, we have been in business years and once in awhile we will encounter clients that are unreasonableWhen this individual came to our office, he was in desperate need of assembling his printer back in place which was taken apart by himThis printer had a warranty but he did not want
to ship it backUsually, there would have been a shipping fee plus being on the phone with a representative giving him direction on her to go about itThis gentlemen was in hurry to get his printer repairedI went ahead and put aside some of my other work in my office to get to his which amounted to 1-hrsIf you call another office that does repairs on office equipment in the surrounding Santa Fe location they usually charge a flat fee from $- $or more, and at that they would have the individual leave the equipmentTurn around time usually is not the same day in most casesOur office does charge $50.00/hrHe traveled from Las Vegas to Santa Fe which is a long distance round trip which I find it a little odd when he could have had that printer that was disassembled fixed in a Las Vegas locationI am not sure how he found my officeAs I mentioned to him to before this problem happened he would be better off to go through the warrantyHe mentioned in his complain that a $gratuity would be enough for my serviceOur office does not work on gratuityWe are a locally owned business as I mentioned for yearsIf it will make him feel better I will send him a check for $but in return never to stop by our business again
