At Better Home Improvement we do our best to provide the best possible service to all of our customers, always. After receiving a call in the past from Mrs. [redacted], we went out the same day to see if we completely understood the problem she was having with her screen room. We did not pour her slab,...

but gave her a solution to try to resolve her issue and she declined. We cannot keep the water out of her screen room as she has a screen roof on her enclosure. As far as the frame being bent during the storm, our company does not warranty damage caused during a storm. We would be glad to fix her frame, but there would be a charge. Due to all the issues we have had with this customer, BHI would like to cut ties with Mrs. [redacted] for any future business projects.

I am rejecting this response because: I am NOT talking about the water in the porch. That was my first and ONLY complaint with this company. I called After the hurricane for them to FIX my screen that blew and replace the frame that got bent!! I NEVER said I wanted it for FREE!! I called and wanted them to do a service call and they told me it was too small of a good!! What kind of A+ is this company?? They are the worth Home improvement Company I have EVER seen!! I already got someone with a good background to deal with my problem. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worse enermy!! I just want the Revdex.com to beware of this companies that steal from customers!! Thanks for passing the word,[redacted]

As you stated, we are glad you find our product is superb and that you are very happy with the final product.

We have been in contact with Mr. [redacted] multiple times trying to arrange a time for our installer to come in and look at what the problem is. Our installer called him twice and he never called him back. It has been constant phone tag between the parties. We need access to inside the house to confirm...

What Mr. [redacted] fails to mention is the source of the leak
was from the main roof of the house and was running down into the sunroom. An
issue we were unaware of, we resolved, and feel it’s unfair that Mr. Ortiz
blames us for an issue that was unrelated to his original contract.  We pride ourselves on our great
customer service to our clients and it just seems that there was nothing we
could do to please Mr. [redacted]

My name is [redacted].  When I met with [redacted] in on 4/16/16, almost a year ago, there was damage to his roof from a tree falling on it.  The roof was old.   There is a pan patio roof on the back of the home that had trees growing on it from neglect and lack of...

maintenance.   [redacted] had gotten on his roof and replaced some of the damaged boards from the tree, but the exposed wood was rotting.  I understood that he did not have the money to get it repaired at that time.  Almost a year later he called me saying he had to do something, and wanted to know if I could help him by financing most all of it for him.  Now, he was scared about how much rotten wood there was going to be and did not want to pay more than he had too.  He said he would replace most of it himself if he could.  I explained to him that we had to replace rotten wood that was part of his roof system to meet Florida Building Code, but did not have to replace any cosmetic rotten wood.  He was happy that he could do this himself to save money where he could. [redacted] came up with some money down, and I could get the balance financed for him.  [redacted] knew that there was going to be a variable cost pertaining to the rotten wood we had to replace.  My guys only replaced what was necessary to meet Florida Building Code.  I have his initials authorizing me to replace rotten wood needed to pass building code requirements.  We were trying to save him the cost, for items he could and wanted to do himself.  We replaced 46 linear ft. of framing and 96 sq. ft. of rotten decking.  We had to replace wood on his roof that was touching rotten wood on his walls.  Having those two marriage together and look good is impossible unless you are fixing the walls at the same time.  The walls, soffit etc. are not part of the roof and items [redacted] was so adamant about repairing himself to save money.  We did the best we could for him until he had the time or money to do it himself.  He wasn’t happy with the way it looked.  I offered to have my siding crew come out and fix his walls, but told him there would be a cost.  He was rude to me and it appears that he thinks that if he strong arms me that he will get it for free. Our contract and scope of work is completed.  We have passed the in progress and final inspections from the city.  We installed a lifetime warranty shingle on his home.  We gave him a lifetime warranty on our craftsmanship. The balance of the contract, plus wood replacement cost is due for [redacted]’s job.
