We used NE Chimney last year to do a few repairs; we got their name from looking on line We found them to be incredibly accommodating and reasonableWe hadn't had the chimney cleaned in a while and thought it might need a cleaningThey inspected it and told us that we needed a bit of repair but that we didn't need a cleaningFrankly, that made me think that they were reputable; we were fully prepared to pay for a cleaning and they knew thatWe called them after a home inspection was done for a house saleIn spite of the fact that they were very busy, Susan went out of her way to schedule us and get the work done before our closingWe had to reschedule due to weather and she still went out of her way to make sure our work was done in time for the closingIt wasn't just about the work at this point, it was about our anxiety level regarding getting everything done in time to submit to the lawyers for the closingOn top of all of this, our realtor sent someone over to give us an estimate; she said she has worked with him a lotThe other contractor's estimate was almost 3x the estimate that NE Chimney gave us-this is not an exaggerationHe was going to charge us for the use of his and foot ladders on top of the workI would highly recommend these folks for their integrity, good workmanship and customer service!
