Review: When I got there...immediately the talked me into allowing them to help me with a rental upon the contingency that I sign a paper allowing them to handle the issue between the insurance company on "behalf" of me.. Naively I did even though I felt that was weird. I needed a car so I did it. I never saw the estimate for the car so I had no idea what was covered under the claim. when I asked for a copy from the clerk [redacted] she told me [redacted] would talk to me. Once again ...weird.. when [redacted] talked to me he told me the quote was for $1800.. I had two 2x2 rust spots that they repaired and they "primered" my hood and roof for $750 extra that they tried to have me pay in cash only. And instead of ordering me a new trunk which was definitely under the claim...I had to buy cash for $350... He delivered my car with a broken tail light with the promise to repair at a later date. After I received my car I was given a call by [redacted] to speak with the insurance company, so they can redirect the check to them as opposed to me. I did so but I felt like something was wrong so I called the insurance company and found out the check is for $2200.. Dude that's a hustle if I ever seen one. so when I called them about this matter I explained to [redacted] that I just wanted to cover myself since I came $1000 out of pocket and that although he is a good person I don't trust anyone. the following day I received a phone call from [redacted] because I "disrespected [redacted] by saying I trust no one" and he dropped multiple[redacted] at me and he threatened to smash my head with a bat if I step by his shop. he didn't know that my 9 year old daughter heard the whole conversation "DISGUSTING MOUTH BRO"... problem is he lied about the total and received extra money on my behalf. He owes me a tail light and he repaired parts that he quoted for new parts. CHARGED THE COMPANY FOR A NEW TRUNK and I bought it, never furnished a paper estimate which I asked for. no recipt. and I cant go there because he threatened me...Desired Settlement: I WANT AN INVESTIGATION DONE ON THE PEOPLE AND I WNAT THOSE ESTIMATES AND THE NUMBERS CALCULATED BECASE IM POSITIVE THE SCAMMED ME.

[redacted] brought his vehicle to us on New Years Eve (12/31/14)with rear end damage to his vehicle. He was complaining of a mechanical issue that we would have to send to [redacted] to diagnose before the repair work started as he felt that it was not safe to drive. He stated that we would need a rental car while his vehicle was in the shop. I explained to [redacted] that since an insurance claim had not been set up and the holiday was imminent that the car might sit for a week or two until the claims process (Statements, Police reports recieved etc.) could be started. This process is one that we cannot expedite as a repair shop. He agreed and signed two forms, an Authorization to Repair, and a Direction of Payment. These forms are required to be signed to leave the car at our shop.
