This letter is in response to [redacted]'s complaint [redacted] dated 2/14/2014. I visited the [redacted] house and ensured everything was installed and working based on the manufacturer's instructions. At this time I do not believe there is any additional service I can provide as an Electrician for this installation. The heat wire was installed according to the manual included in the package and the product is working as indicated. If any additional issues are to occur based on the specifications provided by the manufacturer, I believe the [redacted] will need to contact the manufacturer directly.  Please let me know if my case will be closed with Revdex.com and if anything additional is needed to resolve the case at this time. If you can respond by email, my email address is as follows:

This email is in response to claim ID  [redacted]. I tried to respond through the Revdex.com website but the system was unable to process my request.
I was away for the week that they called my office phone...went over there on Feb 15, found one of the gutter heat tapes was unplugged (plugged it...

in) took amprobe readings with both sets of heat trace on and got 8 amps...system is working fine...they were under impression it was going to melt all snow on roof...it was installed according to manufacturer's recommendations...and the woman shuts the switch off to save electricity which defeats the purpose of the system...especially with the abnormal amount of snowfall we have received..I believe the situation is resolved...
Thank You

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I called Mr. [redacted], on his cell phone and business phone many times with no response on his part, The reason I turned the switch off    was because it wasnt working
the fuse blew had to reset it, it still wasnt working. If he had done the job the way we wanted it done, it would of worked.  Mr .[redacted] came forward after  this complaint to see what the problem was, he found
that one of the plugs was unplugged, he probably didnt plug it in himself as we had no reason to go to the side of the house to do the unplugging. we had snow there. We did have a lot of snow and don't blame him,
so as far as we are concerned we dont want him to do any more work for us. he might believe the problem is solved but we dont. We just have to leave it the way  it is   and hope that we dont have any more problems
because we will get another Electrican to do the job we want. and give us an  invoice of the work and a receipt for it, which Mr [redacted] didn't do for us.  Mr. [redacted] said he was going to put a wire across the upper part
of the small roof which he didn't do, he put the wires across in a small v row, we wanted it  more in a big V row so it would take care of more portion of the roof. He said he went  according to the manufacture's recommendations
I went  on  line and found other ways to  install, so why didnt he do that. Anyway we are done with him.  Attach are pictures of the mess we had when the wires weren't plugged it. If it was plugged in properly we probably won't
of had this mess. At less some of the snow would of melted.
..
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Review: We had Mr. [redacted] do some electrical work on our roof, he installed heatwires on the porch and gutters. We already had this done by someone else and it worked fine that was about 3 yrs ago. But my hubby wanted it to be more in the gutters, so this Mr. [redacted] said he could do the work. He did the work in late fall, but now that it is winter the job that he did doesnt work. We have ice in the gutters and when it melts from the sun it freezes when it gets cold and leaves the gutter with all this ice and iciles down the side of the house. We paid him $400.00 for the job.I tried to call him 4 or 5 times and got no answer.I even sent him a picture of the mess on the roof and gutters and he still didnt call.Desired Settlement: We would like our money back or have him fix it without charging us more money . we are Senor Citizen and on S.S. only and would like it done properly
