The consumer came to our firm and had his engine rebuiltOver a year and months he came to us with a noise in his engineHe wanted it repaired under warranty, we denied that because he was well over the his year warrantyHis vehicle was an altered and performance vehicle in which we do not pay out for any ones play or abuseEven though this vehicle may have not been his main driver it would have been driven hardThis Gentleman understood from the beginning that the one year warranty would be limited to useHis vehicle is a custom low rider show struct car with Hydralics

Understand Please, When a vehicle is an extreme angles, the oil in the oil pan is at the same level as the vehicle which means there is a risk of Oil pick up sucking air because all the oil has moved to one side or anotherAlso risks of consuming air through oiling rings, can wash into combustion chamber at a very slow rate but will lower oil level after or during useThis is why we do not like to warranty these types of engines in these type of vehiclesHowever we did but the risk is gone because the warranty has well lapsedThe offer we proposed still stands until 3/15/There will be no further response from here in

I do not Accept the Response Made by the Business to Resolve this Complaint. This is my response:Although I believe the engine should still be covered under warranty, that wasn't my entire issue. I believe New England Engine and Machine should stand behind their work and their manufactured parts and fix the engine free of charge warranty or no warranty. The car has an altered suspension. In no way is it a performance vehicle. The altered suspension is for looks. It does not bounce around, it is strictly for lowering the car a few inches for looks. The car was never driven hard. How can you tell me it was driven hard when you have never witnessed the car being driven? Just because a car has a altered suspension does not justify your statement that it was driven hard. There was absolutely no issue involving my suspension when I came to get the work done. There was nothing spoken about before, during, or after the work was done, about my altered suspension having any effect on the work being done by New England Engine and Machine. That is because it has absolutely nothing to do with the work this business has done to the ENGINE. The statement about the warranty being "limited to normal use" had never been spoken about. Even if that conversation had occurred, the car was driven with normal use. An altered suspension does not effect the way a car is driven. This response was to be sent with my statement that I do not accept the response made by the business to resolve this complaint.Complaint Number [redacted]

When the vehicle is at extreme angles? What extreme angles? The car lowers. The same angles can be met parking on a hill. Once again another poor excuse trying to justify the failure of the engine you have rebuilt. Unbelievable. I checked the oil often throughout the time frame of having it rebuilt and to when I had to bring it back to you for extremely loud knocking and squeaking and the oil was never low. Once again, there was absolutely no mention on your part about my suspension before the work was done. Nor was there any mention about my suspension being an issue, until now. The reason being because it has nothing to do with the engine. Your proposal of me paying 2000.00$ to fix a part you think failed is unacceptable.
