I am rejecting this response because: As stated, it is not to my satisfaction or fair practice to charge me for a vacuum that did not work properly.I have spoken to the Dyson company and they are going to proceed with an investigation into A-Vacuum's claim regarding the efficiency of a refurbished Dyson

A-Vacuum does not dispute any of the details in the complaintWe agree with Ms***, the refurbished Dyson Vacuum Cleaner we sold her in April did not perform properly in her circumstancesThe extreme fine dust her house happens to generate was not being trapped in the Dyson's filter
system properlyWe did exchange units with her with the hopes of solving the problem approxthree months after the original saleWe then attempted to exchange the refurbished unit with a new Hoover upright six months after the original saleUnfortunately the price we charged for the new unit was not acceptable to the customer so she returned itWe decided to refund Ms*** for the original sale price pro-rated based on the length of time it was between the time of the sale and the time of the refundAll details including the refund credit memo as well as the letter we mailed to Ms*** have been attached to this complaint for reviewThis refund was not a part of our policyWe made this exception because we didn't think we could satisfy the needs in this particular situationWe are sorry and disappointed that we were not able to find an acceptable solution and hoped that the pro-rated refund would allow Ms*** to pursue other solutionsA-Vacuum stands behind their products and when there is no solution we will do whatever we can to satisfy our customersUnfortunately in this case, we were not able to find a solution that was satisfactory to both parties hence the refund
