In response to complaint #*** which was receivedFollowing is an outline describing how our company made every effort to satisfy and please this customer, as we do all of our customers. We were contacted by this customer last summer for an estimate to landscape her property and
although our price was the highest of the three estimates received, the customer decided to contract with New England Landscape due to the excellent reputation we haveWe have been in business for over years and have never had an issue or a complaint, because we perform excellent workWe aim to please! We have also been a member of the Revdex.com with an A+ Rating. The customer’s neighbors warned us that this customer would be very difficult to get along withWe should have taken their advice not to contract with themThe customer was difficult from the very start by pressuring us to lower our prices, which we did, only allowing a crew to work certain days and times at the property. The customer also wasted our time by having our company prepare an estimate for their father, for his property in Woonsocket, RIWe are sure the customer would not have referred us to her family if we didn’t have a great reputation and perform excellent work at fair pricesWe have performed work for thousands of people over the years and have never encountered a more difficult person who mentally tortured our workers and myself. New England Landscape installed a new lawn, irrigation system and hyrdro-seeded their propertyWe cut new beds for this customer and many other “chores” that were not included in the project price and were done at no cost. When the project was completed, the customer informed us that they were installing a fence, so we would have to move the irrigation system to allow room for the fence to be installedThe customer demanded that crushed stone along the foundation, which was put there for drainage purposes, be removedAlthough the grade of the new lawn was perfect, the customer demanded we bring in additional loam and regrade and reseedThe customer demanded that we powerwash their house and fences because some hydro-seed touched the bottom of the fence which is when hydro-seedingWe returned to the property six (6) times to try to please this customerFinally, the customer must have been pleased as they left a message stating that they would leave the balance owed at her door(We still have this saved message). When we went to collect the check, it was not there. Ten (10) days after the project was completed, the irrigation system was performing perfectly and covering the property completelyThe grass germinated and looked liked a golf course for the rest of the FallIn fact, the lawn looked so great, that three (3) of their neighbors contracted us to perform work for them. So it was incredible that this customer, who still has an outstanding balance of over $3,and who we tried so hard to please, would file such a complaint with the Revdex.comThe customer’s property looks fantastic and has only paid $2,for over $6,worth of work! As a result, I have placed a mechanics lien on her property and have retained an attorney who is currently filing suit against this customerHopefully, the attorney will be successful or maybe, the customer will come to the realization that it is not ethical or moral to cheat people who work very hard and expend their own funds to provide an excellent service and product
