conversation covered many subjects, not least of which was the conversation about the Efficiency Maine incentivesAt that time I specifically told you both that you would likely receive a call from Efficiency Maine and they would ask (as they do to all parties they survey) if this property is your primary residence, that is, you spend greater than 50% of your time thereDuring the installation of the insulation and heat pumps, our crew reminded you of the same (I surveyed them on this specific subject).If you review your e-mail trail, the following will clarify what you simply have to do:September 29, 2016: your husband responded to Efficiency Maine that your Massachusetts address is your legal residence now, but was unable to provide a move in timeframe.October 4, 2016: Our office contacted you about the incentive and requested payment, and, concurrently, informed you that once you are spending more than 50% of your time in Maine, you could submit directly to Efficiency Maine for reimbursement.October 5, 2016: You responded to our office and indicated that in fact you do spend more than 50% of your time in Maine, etc.October 6, 2016: Our office responded and recommended that you call Efficiency Maine directly with that information (which would put us back on track with regard to Efficiency Maine reimbursing our company directly).October 24, 2016: Efficiency Maine responded to you, left a message, and has not heard back from you.Please call them at your earliest convenience, tell them you spend more than 50% of the time at your Maine, and I am sure this issue can be resolved quicklyYour point of contact at Efficiency Maine is ready to help

My response to New England Spray Foam, complaint #*** is that I disagree with the way the project was presented to us.During the initial appointment we did mention that we would be moving to Maine, but did not give the time frame "as soon" since we do not have an exact date. We were told that there was an energy rebate for the work we were looking at, which at the time we thought was a good deal. But, there was no mention of a residency requirement. The first we heard that we might not be eligible for the rebates was from the work team after the unit was installed. At that time we were told to say the Wells address was our primary address.I did call *** at Efficiency Maine and left a message. If she did in fact return my call I did not get it. Maybe, we were in Maine.Lastly, we received an initial bill dated 9/26/for the final payment of $5,470.00, which we paid. Since then we have received an e-mail and billed for an additional payment of $1,700.00.It just does not seem like a good way to do business. If New England Spray Foam knew of the residency requirement for the state, they should not have offered the incentive from the start. Not try to take it back at a later date.Regards, *** ***
