Review: I originally hired [redacted]. on 10/2013 to convert my boiler from oil to gas. [redacted] would not file the necessary paper work with The Building Department even though on my contract it stated he would. He basically abandoned the job. I explained my situation to [redacted] from New Era Boiler. He said to file the necessary paper work with The Building Department, check the boiler for proper operation, and re-route the circular pump in the basement it would cost $5,000.00. I gave him a deposit of $3,500.00 on 04/**/2014. At this point I have received numerous excuses as to why the job has not been done, I know longer want to use their services and want my deposit back. I have expressed this to him and he said he would talk to "[redacted]"..... I gave him a deadline of Friday 01/**/2015, but was unsuccessful. I believe neither [redacted]'s nor [redacted]'s company are licensed to do any conversion. If it helps the email I received the proposal for the boiler filing came on 04/**/20014 from [redacted] the receipt for my deposit has a phone number ###-###-####/###-###-#### Lic. ID [redacted]. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.Desired Settlement: I basically want my $3,500.00 deposit back so I can finally get my boiler inspected and filed properly with The Building Department. As a new home owner I have been learning too many lessons the hard way.
