They never Refunded the money that they owe me .this has not been resolved as yetRegards [redacted] ***

When reading the business' response to my complaint, I was struck by the absence of their addressing most of the issues I'd brought up. Their focus was largely on the fact that we were watching and commenting on their work. This was unfortunately necessary as they were consistently sloppy and negligent. I went into this agreement in a trusting manner and wasn't even home on the first day they were there! Sadly, we learned that they required constant supervision. We stopped them from covering up one outlet, but now realize that they covered another when we were NOT watching! (This will have to be corrected)There is another outlet on which the cover can no longer be attached. When we reminded a worker about priming the wall, he responded, "Oh yeah, I forgot about the primer." We gave this same worker an old can of paint so that there would be no confusion about the brand & color we had used, but he left the can somewhere. After the worker left on the last day, I spent hours scraping ceiling paint splatters EVERYWHERE including a difficult-to-reach light fixture, high beams and I had to re-paint a cement hearth (which could not be scraped). We have scheduled workers to repair the drywall and repaint the ceiling & the wall. We are looking at an additional $1,and more of our time and inconvenience. Here are some photos of how New Found Construction left our home:

[this company only came out times and had said that they usually do have to come out at least times because the loose insulation that is blosettles to the bottom and they need to blow in moreThus the yo lay came out once more than usual and it was because they did not do the job correctlyI should not have to supervise the workers to make sure it's done and expect that they owner would feel responsible to come out and make sure the job is done correctly but since he didn't, I took work off to do itIt has now been over a year since the work was done but when I contacted hi, in September/October about the empty bays and lack of insulation in the ceiling and check the insulation in our house with a thermo device (which took more than calls and emails) for them to come and fill it, the owner said he would but had to see when his crew would be in the area and he would come out with the deviceI finally got an email before Thanksgiving saying they would contact me and come out after the holidayThey never called or emailed me and I had to try againThat is when I made this complaint with the Revdex.com. I feel they took advantage of me and never did what they said they would and I don't feel that the work done was as promisedI am not satisfied which I had let them know after finding the several areas with no insulationI feel I am entitled to either a full or half reimbursementI just want to be done with this company but also want what is owed to me.If you are rejecting the business's response please enter your rejection comments here.]

This issue has not been resolved as yet --He only paid half of what he owes me ..he paid $500.He still owes $,

To whom it may concern this accusation is totally false..the homeowner received in rradiant barrier plus blown in insulation giving her an rin her wallsThe purpose of putting the R radiant barrier in would be to make sure that there was insulation in her walls no matter whatThat radiant
barrier goes on the outside of the rafter rather than inside, they put the drywall right over so would've had to be there, if it's not there somebody would've physically had to rip it downso despite everything she would've had insulation in her walls, And we have signed completion forms from the homeowner, saying great work.Nevertheless here's how it went:We have visited this homeowners house on three different occasionsWe did the work almost a year ago, she had called back for insulation not being done when we got to the house we have found that somebody had ripped through the insulation and threw it on the floor so they could do electrical work, we had explained to the homeowner that that's what happened and we re-did the insulation to please herA couple days later we got another call back from her saying some walls were missed we then explained to her that she needed to be there for this last install to make sure that everything got done that the homeowner wanted done, which included areas of inside the house that weren't supposed to get done and wasn't work on the contract that we did anyways to please the homeownerBefore we left we said to the homeowner this will be the last time we were coming out there to make sure everything got done the way she wanted it donethe home owner want to stay there through the entire job to make sure it got done rightnow I year later the homeowner is calling saying that there's work not done, and that they are still having electrical doneWe explained that we would be more than happy to get out there when we had a second to blany issues she was having the contractor she had at the time we were there since has also walked away from this job because of the way the homeowner is doing businessIf you are a contractor please do not do work for this homeowner she will try to screw you out of work, money, and material.. The owner who is saying this is not telling the truth! First I never said that the e-shield was missing, that was everywhere but covering bays with no insulation and I just recently found more areas that were covered with the e-shield and no bloinsulation on exterior wallsFirst, he convienentelty left out that there were bays that had no insulation which his workers noticed as well on the 3rd visitAlso, he never mentioned that his workers did not cut out several outlets and light switches and this the drywall people covered them upOne of the main reasons that this house took so long to finish was because of New Found Construction and I had to wait on them several times to come out and fix his work! Also he never mentioned that he apologized for it not being done right because of one of his workers whom he fired (when he told me he was sorry and he fired his foreman and that's why they came out the 3rf time)Also, what company has the homeowners stay home from work to observe and help a hired company to make sure the job was done right? Also the owner does his math wrong when it comes to the R-valueMy town inspector had me come and see him to inform me that R-value that the owner of the New Found Construction reported is incorrect for the e-shield and blotogetherBut he said that it would still suffice but was not as high as I was told. The owner also never told me about the e-shield being pulled down by someone until this past September when I asked him to come out again and fill missing baysSo the fact he is binging that up is irrelevant because he did not inform me at the timeAnd he reports that his workers filled in areas that he was not contracted to do, but he said he would fill any area I asked and did not tell me of any areas that were not included. The reason that some of the bays are not filled is because his employees did not mark the studs correctlyFor instance, the bays that are not filled on the exterior wall are small bays about 3-inches wide and did not have the green markers that were used to mark the studs in order to know where the bays are for them to fill with bloinsulation because the e-shield is not translucent. He is a liar and fraud and I never asked him for anything other than he promised to do and that I paid for!He still has yet to call me back and come and fill in the bays and bring the thermo-device to check for areas that are osing heat! I have traced out and contacted times then received an email (before Thanksgiving)stating they would get back to me after the holiday meaning ThanksgivingHe also told me over the phone that it was completed 1year ago in December and sounded as if after te 1year mark he was not going to do anything elseI believe that is why he has avoided me because he doesn't want to do his job. This company is not worth the "savings" he promises compared to other companies

Our interaction with this client began 05/12/when we received
a lead for sound proofing from ***We (***) called that day and
left a voice mailWhen we finally got a hold of the client and scheduled an
estimate for 05/17/The estimate was for sound profiling which
we
discussed with the client using a combination of bloinsulation, radiant
barrier insulation, and drywall; costing $The client was pleased with
this estimate and wrote us check on the spot for a deposit for half the amount
$*** then sent out a Shake Agreement for the client to sign, stating
among many other things, that any jobs not booked thirty days after the deposit,
half the deposit would be forfeited and retained by the company*** was the
main contract for the client from the start on 05/12/until her departure from
the company at the beginning of June, so anything that was discussed between
the client and *** wasn’t document or relayed to the ownerWe went without
a secretary for about a month, with no word from the client*** the current secretary
was brought in on 07/13/2015, and immediately received calls and messages from
this client regarding a refund, about a month after our last contact with himUnaware
of the situation all *** could do was to tell the client that he would relay
the message to the ownerAfter *** spoke with the owner, who was also
unaware of what was going on, told *** to call the client and gather more
information about the situation*** then called the client and asked why a
happy client turned irate and was demanding a refundThe client kept talking
about his conversations with ***, which no knows about so no one could confirm
or deny any information she shared with the clientThe client said he called
*** (the radiant barrier company) and told *** that they said radiant
barrier was not a tool for sound proofing*** reiterated that it was a combination
of the three products that were discussed would meet his sound proofing needs
which was explained to him at his estimateThe client was unwilling to acknowledge
that combination of those products was sound proofing, arguing profusely that the
radiant barrier is not a tool for sound proofing, unwilling to listen or accept
the duel use of the radiant barrier with the combination of the other products
the client grew more and more irate instead of educated about the productThe
client was also unwilling to accept that *** was no longer with the company
and didn’t relay any of her conversations with the client or any of the client’s
needs to anyone, by arguing with *** about what *** said, instead of
giving leeway to a new employee with that just started with the company and was
completely unaware of what was going on with the client or the situationAfter
the *** and the owners got on the same page we agreed to refund the clients’
moneyWe had to relocate the office on 08/01/so there was a three day
delay on anything from the officeAs soon as the office was up and running we
wrote the refund check for the client on 08/06/mailing out the next day on
08/07/to the address on file*** *** *** *** *** **
Then we received the complaint via Revdex.com on 08/13/
The complaint had numerous errors: (1) deposit check was for
$not $(2) we never said eShield alone was for sound proofing but the
combination of the three products listed in the estimate would meeting his
sound proofing needs (3) *** was not been with the company for two months,
*** started on 07/13/(4) we never once told the client the check was in
the mail when it was not (5) date of transaction 05/08/was four days
before we received the email from *** *** about the client (6) date of
first problem 6/11/there is nothing on our records of even speaking to the
client on that date (7) *** has no reason to lie to the client, nor would he
(8) *** is a secretary and is unable to do anything regarding the finances
while under his thirty day trial employment which the client was unwilling to acknowledge
or accept
After receiving the complaint, *** called the client to
find out why such a rush to complain when we thought we just settled the situation
The client stated he never received the check, *** asked to confirm the clients
address and the client gave *** a new address ** *** *** *** **
and told *** that the *** *** *** *** *** **, address was not his
home nor is it easy for him to be able to get mail there, which we were never
made aware ofWe offered to put a stop payment on the check and send out a new
one to his new address, the client said he check for the check again and get
back to usThen the client showed up the owner’s homeThe owner wasn’t home
but his wife and kids were, while the client was irate and threating the owners
wifeAgain the client refused for us to make a stop payment and mail him a new
checkUnable to do anything to fix the situation due to the client’s
unwillingness to acknowledge our efforts or any other side to the situation other
than his own, we are at a standstillWe put a stop payment on the check on
08/24/as well as sent out a new check to the new addressSo now we wait
to see what the client does or says next

The client contracted us for a job. After READING and SIGNING the paper work we started the job. While doing the job the client decided that she wanted to CHANGE what was expected of the job. We obliged without adding any additional cost. The client was extremely vocal about what she wanted. We tried to oblige her as much as we could until it was decided for us to part ways. The client AGREED to the discount, the client signed out paper work releasing us from the job. We heard and obliged as much as we could with this client. The claim that the client needs to spend additional money to complete the job is understandable due to the fact that is what we would have quoted her that much had we known the situation we were walking into. We did what we could within the means of the situation we were put in. We keep referencing the client being there because it should be no shock to her what we were doing or what happened. She agreed to the parting of ways, she agreed to the discount, both parties agreed to leave dissatisfied with the other.

We have tried to make this person happy over a year ago when the job took place. Following the job we went out numerous of times to continue to make her happy, We feel that we have given ample time to her.

There was NEVER a change regarding the services we requested of this business owner.  Because of the shoddy work, lack of punctuality, dissension between the employees and the business owner and the fact that the work was not completed on time (and we could not take any more time off from work), we agreed to keep $600 and do the sanding, priming and painting ourselves.  We had no way of knowing how poorly the drywall had been installed until we began to work on it.  Sanding, priming and painting cannot repair major gaps, nail pops, bubbled tape, etc.  As far as the painting of the ceiling, I spoke to the man painting the ceiling repeatedly because he was barely doing any edging.  Each time I said something, he would go toward an edge, but then move away when I left.  He kept telling me that it would look fine when it was dry.  I knew this was not true, but I also knew that the only way to protect my house from further damage was to have him (and this company) out of my house.  I contacted the owner 2 weeks later to invite him to come and see how the condition in which our house was left.  One of his employees said he would call me back, but I never received a call back.  This is unfortunate because there is no way this man could look at the completed project and say he approves. referred to the estimate sheet given.  she was adamant on this getting done, so we obliged and didn't raise the price. we explained to the homeowner the length of time it would take to do the job.
