This letter is in response to a complaint you received on 7/9/ID# ***.The customer brought in a ladies silver ring to be straightened that was all bent out of shape and asked if we could fix it I told her we would do the best job we could because it was in pretty bad conditionThere is
absolutely no way we would have added an extra size to the ringThat would require more work and more cost to both of usWhen a ring is out of shape it will fit smaller then it actually is.We Always aim to please our customers and do everything we can to helpI am happy to say we have thousands of satisfied customers in the years I have been hereUnfortunately I wasn't there when she came back in but was informed of the situation the same day.She did say to my clerk she was never coming back and that's when he told her that's fine if that's how you feel, but we Did Not make the ring a size bigger it was only straightened to its original size.I would however out of a courtesy to offer her a ring guard at no cost to her, or she can also have the ring sized to a six at the cost of a service charge onlyThat is because whenever you size silver either up or down you have to re rhodium it and that is extra time and money.Thank you *** for your time on this matterPlease contact me if you require any additional information.Regards,Patricia L***-***New Generation Jewelers###-###-#### work10;00-4;mon-friday

I would like my ring to be returned to a size 6, this is the size it was before I brought it to the jeweler to be straightened out. I will explain again since in the response I read some discrepancies. When I brought the ring in I was told that the ringneeded to be sent out to be rerodiumed because the bend was so bad. I agreed I paid for the ring I received a call a few weeks later stating that my ring arrived and it was ready for pick up. So my point is.... if the ring was sent out to be fixedhow can you tell me that during the straightening process the ring was not stretched. I can look at the ring and see that it is thinned out in the area it was repaired thus making it bigger. Secondly the clerk in the store was not willing to work withme and was actually very nasty to me and that is the reason I said that I would not return to the store especially sincehe made it appear as if he was the owner telling me how he would not discount the sizing of the ring because he givesso much away, therefore, I was forced to file a complaint. Again.... I am not saying that you made the ring bigger I am saying that it was it was definitely stretched while being straightened out and I would like my goods returned to me the same size as it was whenI brought it in to be repaired.
