No papers
We here on Curtiss Ave. in West Haven have not been receiving our ads. It is spotty at best. We only received 1 paper in the last 3 weeks. I rely on those ads to decide what and where I will buy my groceries for the week. Could you please do something about this?

Review: I have called customer service for all most two years to chronically report late delivery issues. I always ask the help desk to have a supervisor contact me and leave my number. I have not received a call back from anyone. I have cut my delivery to one day a week. However my neighbor in his 90's can not get his paper on his own. I bring in the paper, mail, trash ect for him. When I leave/get home from work. When I leave at 7:00 am the paper has not been delivered, therefore I can not bring it in. This has been a chronic problem in which I call customer service and I get no response or my paper doesn't even get delivered on a Sunday. This week I have called the circulation manager and a left message on Tuesday 11/4/2014, with no reply.Desired Settlement: Please hold your delivery people accountable for doing their contracted job. Additionally please return the phone call to customers. There are still people out in the world that expect everyone to do their job.

Review: On 3/12/13 I emailed a complaint to the New Haven Register because their delivery service was no longer delivering the Sunday paper that I had paid for in advance. I requested a refund of $43.40 based on the 14 (of a 26 week subscription) remaining weeks on the subscripton period. I was notified that day (via email) that the request was being processed. I did receive a paper on 3/17 and also a computerized phone call on 3/19 from "PRC" inquiring about delivery satisfaction (no callback information was given). On 3/24/13 I did not receive a Sunday paper and reported the nondelivery on the automated NHR phone line, and then I later actually reached a customer service rep. who stated that the New Haven Register had credited my account for 14 newspapers. I was quite irrate at this time, as I had requested a refund in the March 12th correspondence and I verbally stated that again. The rep. said they would refund the money owed me; however, I have not received a refund as of today (3/29/13). I would also like to add that 1) this is not the first time that the NHR has failed to refund/replace a nondelivered paper, 2) it is nearly impossible to speak to an actual person when calling the register - I repeatedly received messages that the office was closed when calling either on a Sunday related to non-delivery issues, or on a weekday before 5:00 p.m.; and 3) the delivery time of the paper had been unreliable for several months prior to the non-delivery issues.Basically, I paid $1.10 over the $2.00 newstand price for the "convenience" of receiving a Sunday paper at my home. Sadly, the New Haven Register cannot follow through on their end.

Review: We paid for a Sunday subscription to the New Haven register for 4 months and only received a paper twice . We made 6 calls to complain about the poor service and report that no paper had been delivered. We even spoke with the District Manager on a Friday January 24th 2014 and he assured us we would get the paper starting that Sunday, January 26th and would receive a credit for missed papers. Well we did receive a paper that Sunday but have not received it since nor have we been reimbursed as of February 20th .Desired Settlement: We called the New Haven Register and cancelled the paper as of February 20 2014. In addition, we have contacted our credit card and they have started a dispute process against the Registerto obtain a refund of $23.50. We were billed on our credit card Oct 10th, Dec 4th, Dec 18th and Jan 8th each time for $5.80. We will mostly likely be charged another $5.80 on our Feb credit card bill. We want the register to reimburse us $29.00 for papers we paid for and never received from Oct 2013-Feb 20.

Review: Received delivery of Sun paper only for 13 weeks for $39. Paid and stopped delivery via [redacted]

on 8/22/12.

When asked [redacted] what is confirmation for call to pay and stop delivery of paper, he told me to use the time (which he gave me) and the date as confirmation: 8/22/12 @ 17:04 P.M.

Called Customer Service again on 9/25/12 to requested no serivce to be continued after 13 wks, but did not get the person's name. Negative bal of $26 on acct XXX-XXXXXXXX is incorrect. This is a billing error and I am denying that this is my [redacted], as I paid my [redacted] in full. Desired Settlement: I am requesting that the billing error be corrected and the neg bal of $26 be removed, immediately, as I have been trying to have this done for since 2012. Have spoken with New York office and New Haven to no avail.

We have looked into her complaint and we have found that she paid on her account on August XX XXXX. Filed a missing papers complaint on September 25 and asked to stop her paper on January 9 2013. We have taken the steps to credit her account in the amount of $26.90. Her account with the New Haven Register is now at a zero balance.

Review: About 60% of the time the paper hasn't been delivered after calling them and being assured the missing paper will be delivered the next day it still doesn't come along with the next paper so there becomes multiple days each week that no paper comes being very generous they have a 40 % delivery rate yet I pay for all the papers whether they get delivered or not. Supposedly a supervisor is going to call but that was weeks ago as well as ever week in between then that they say the same. At this point the only thing I can count on is a lip service from them.Desired Settlement: I would like my paper delivered as said and would like the papers they claimed were going to be delivered as well taking into account that I have already paid for them
