New Hilltop Dry Cleaners, Inc.

Review: On July 22, 2014, I called New Hilltop Dry Cleaners and asked if they could clean my 4 month old comforter since I smoke and the only yellowing was from smoke. I was told yes. I brought the comforter to the cleaners on July 23, 2014. I picked it up on July 26, 2014 and the comforter looked the same with the yellowing still on it. They took my $48.00 before they brought the comforter to me. The man (who was sitting on a stool) said he couldn't spot clean it, and the women behind the counter said that was the best they could do, which was nothing! They didn't do anything to it at all except but it in a plastic bag. They refused to give me my money back and I left the store. I went back an hour later and said I either wanted my money back or I wanted them to clean it like they said they could. The man started SCREAMING at me and told me he couldn't clean it because it was 10 years old, that is not what he said the first time! He kept screaming and took the comforter from me and threw it on a chair. He really scared me so I left the store. Before I got to my car he came running out of the cleaners and THREW the comforter at me and said something I didn't understand. I called them when I got home and the women said to bring the receipt to them showing it was only 4 months old and not 10 years old. I am waiting for the receipt from my credit card company but I am sure they are not going to give me my money back. I have talked to several people since this happened and they said the cleaners has burned and distroyed item they brought in there and they would never go back. Something needs to be done to close they down. They are nasty people and that man scares me. I wish I had him arrested.Desired Settlement: I want my $48.00 back in cash. I don't trust them with a check.
