to be inspected. Our vehicles get inspected by a third party (not NHAS). This vehicle was sold AS IS no warranty, and customer signed the AS IS, no warranty forms. NHAS let the customer bring back the vehicle to be looked at; even though we sold it AS IS. The customer called us in reference to a check engine light, the door lock, and an issue with the radio controls. The customer only came once for the issue... not twice. The door lock was fixed, the issue they had with the radio turned out not to be an issue at all (it was that the vehicle has shifting paddles on the steering column and customer thought it was radio controls). The issues with the light we were told was not an issue they couldn't find anything wrong. Then we got this Revdex.com letter in reference to this complaint We are not out to rip our customer off. We try the best we can to make our customers happy, NHAS has been in business since 1985 and have many repeat customers because we do more than most used car dealers do for their customers. We are sorry that they are not happy with their purchase, We have put over $1500,00 in repairs on this vehicle since the time it came to our lot. Including a safety inspection in which at that time failed. We then had the repairs done to the vehicle in order to make it a good running, safe vehicle.

Review: I purchased a car from New Hope Auto SalesAt the time of the purchase, the vehicle inspection had expiredThey inspected the car and put a sticker on itI had the car a week and had to make trips back to NAS for check engine light issueEach time they said it was fixed and each time, the next day it came back onInstead of going back a third time, I took it to a local repair shop near me and the car has multiple issues that they say would not allow the car to pass inspectionThis includes a windshield washer pump that I had to install the day I took it to the repair shopThe break lines had cuts in them, the lower ball joint was bad All three of these things would not allow a car to pass inspection but New Hope Auto Sales put an inspection sticker on the car and allowed me to drive it off the lotThe car also had bad rotors that would allow it to pass according to my mechanic, but he said in the condition they are in, they are unsafe
I explained to New Hope Auto Sales that this car was for my year old daughter and that safety was my top priorityThey assured me it was theirs tooClearly it was notThey told me the car was safeIt is now costing me $1,to get the car safe and to pass an actual inspection.Desired Settlement: I would like New Hope Auto Sales to reimburse me $1,The cost of all the items to get the car to pass inspectionThe rotors would be on me since it was not an inspection issue
