If this will save anyone else from going through the same things I've gone through, I'd rather have this out there. The following statements are truth and can be backed up my proof. Upon moving in, everything was very nice and no problems were seen. It was an upgrade and the neighborhood was very quiet. Since the end of 2017, the central air has not been working. Granted, we didn't need it in the winter, once it started getting hotter is when we realized. I was told for about a month that nothing was wrong with the air condition and it was because the chiller system didn't kick on until 65 degrees. While it was in the upper 60s outside, it was sweltering hot in the apartment due to direct sunlight on the roof. Well the day never came where the AC started working. I guess this was when they discovered there was a problem. After a series of annoying phone calls from me, we were given a 5000 btu unit to cool the entire apartment (2 br/2 bath). Around this time, about 4 buildings in the complex were without hot water for 2 weeks, and it continues to be hit and miss on whether it's working or not. I have put in my notice to vacate and will be moving to another apartment complex. I gave my notice over a week ago and haven't heard from the front office management. Today was the last straw because I feel it was out of retaliation for me leaving. Two maintenance workers were in my apartment drilling holes in my walls TO FIX THE AC when I got home and they had locked my dog in the bathroom. When I got to her (after they took forever to leave) it was 98 degrees in the bathroom and she was overheating. I don't understand why they couldn't have waited another week until I would have been gone, but that's not the point. They both agreed that the front office manager said that they had given me notice that the maintenance crew would be there today, which I was NOT given a notice. Throughout this entire process, I've never been offered a reduction in rent, and even now in being MOVED OUT and GAVE AMPLE NOTICE, I get a letter that says I owe $685. This has been the most miserable experience of my life and I pray to God that no one has to go through this if they aren't

I moved to Villas of Stonecreek exactly months agoAfter weeks of me living there, the sewage line backed up in my house and flooded everythingI started calling the emergency maintenance line and approxhours later maintenance showed up (they did not speak English), by this time by apt is totally flooded (new carpet and flooring)They sent someone out to suck out the water, spray some stuff on the carpet and put blowers in my house for daysI am a very clean person and just the thought of walking on this carpet after the sewage backing up just disgust meNot to mention that I have cats that also walk on this carpetAbout weeks after that incident, they put a memo on our door that the window people would be there in less than hrs to replace our windowsThat took all day and I guess from having my apt open (my cats locked up for more than hours) my A/C started leakingI called the emergency maintenance line and someone who does not speak English showed upPlayed with my A/C for about mins and on Google translator told me if it happens again to call the officeWell, he didn't make it out of the door mins and the A/C started leaking againI walked out my door and grabbed another maintenance person and told himHe brought me a bucket and stated that he had no pressurized air to blow the lines and that he would try to get some airHe played with the A/C for a short time and told me if it happens again then they will have to open my wall up and blow the main line outAbout weeks ago, I noticed that when I run my bath water, it has a brown tint to the waterI mentioned this to the office and was told it was from the boilers and that it was safeMy neighbor just informed today that she had a termite infestation in their wall and the office sent a company out to treat itThe company told her the wall was pretty much gone, just sheet rock and bricks leftThe office still has not disclosed this info to usThe grounds are always littered, there isn't enough parking for the residentsThe pool was promised to open in May, it did notThe pool is disgusting!!!! There is water in there but the water is completely blackWhen it rains you can't walk out of your front door because the water coming down is like a waterfall, no proper drainageThe parking lots completely flood when it rains We have a bat infestation in our buildingThe laundry facilities are horrible, disgusting, and unsanitaryWhen I moved in months I was told that they would install washer/dryer hook ups, that has not happenedWe received a notice on our door stating that if we referred someone to sign a lease we will get a discount on our rentI would not refer my worst enemies to live in this placeI can't wait until my lease is up to get the *** out of hereI understand the property is going through some renovations but you should have most repairs done to an apt before leasing itThere is sooooo much that needs to be done to the property and you never see anything getting done as far as maintenance and keeping up the property

I've been in my apartment since Aug 18th and have been reporting problems since day oneThey will show you a beautiful apartment and lie about how nice your apartment will beI was told that I was moving in one apartment but the day I went to sign my lease my apartment changed and it is the worst thing ever from the roach feces that are in every corner to the gaps and holes and unfinished floorsMy apartment is kept clean and cold and There should be no reason I'm killing roaches I've asked several times to be moved to a different unit and nothing has happenedI've had to deal with a bee issue from them being on my porch to them taking over my master bedroomI have several pictures of things that's been reported to the office and they don't seem to care about the ongoing issuesThere is Gnats in my apartment that will not go awayThe dishwasher has water in it and I've never used it before but no one seems to understand that there should be no liquid in there if it's never been used which is probably a breeding ground for the roaches and gnatsThis is the worse move ever and I'm fed up with this place and the nasty apartment I was put inI DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE EVERIF YOU LOOKING FOR A PLACE THATS NICE AND THIS AINT THE PLACE YOU WILL BE FORCED TO SHARE YOUR APARTMENT WITH ROACHES GNATS AND FOR ME BEES AS WELLRUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ITS HORRIBLE

Living at Oaks of kingsbridge has not been a comfortable stay
I purchased an apartment at what used to be Oaks of Kingsbridge (now Villas at Stone Creek)in February of At first glance, I was excited, comfortable and pleased with the monthly rent, bills and simple necessities the complex had to offer.sadly, my choice in living here is starting to be regretfulI'm a uncomfortable with how business here is starting to changeRenovation had just taken place in June and cleanliness was not practiced after construction workers were through for the dayNeedles were left unnoticed on the ground and walk ways, trash was strewn about and there's also an unstable railing right in front of my apartmentKeep in mind, construction workers have been all over the complex painting units, door, drilling and etcNot once have they fixed the railingChildren of all ages roam the hallways, outdoors and scenery on the daily bases...that railing is not stableif you were to attempt to step on it,you may fall over.Fast forward to August 2016employers in the front office have changed drastically through my months of living hereThe new employers never answer the phone, when I visit to report a request I'm answered with short, sarcastic answers and I've called for an exterminator which has yet to comeMaintenance workers have a good time taking joy rides in golf carts instead of being available, the washroom is not clean or welcomingit's invested with trash, termites, gnats and reeking stenchesI feel that I should not continue to pay rent if my needs are not met where I liveDue to the tragic flooding that occurred a few weeks ago, my sister and her family is living with me short term until they find a stable place to liveThey have small children and because my requests are unanswered, my home is invested with roaches, gnats and mosquitoesits unsanitary to cook meals for my guests and have roaches around the foodIm very unpleased with management and look forward to moving when my lease is up in February the only thing descent they've done around here so far is repainting the building

My sister and I have lived here since Dec The flood made finding an apt in BR pretty much impossible + we had slim pickingsThe unit we were showed was nice enough, tile wood floors, new paint, big closetsThe appliances were new and it seemed good for us twoWe were not leased that unitOur place was a "renovated" townhouse in a not at all renovated buildingIt started out ok, but we quickly realized maintenance was no good and neither is the front officeEvery repair is a quick fix, nothing really repairedYou can never get a manager or anyone in the main office to answer the phone unless you call the leasing lineWe were constantly calling to get someone out to spray our unit for pests, the ac was either off or leakingOn Labor Day, our power was shut off because the property decided to switch utility companies without informing usIf I hadn't called the property group in NEW JERSEY we would've been without power for daysI don't recommend this complex to anyoneMove elsewhereIt's too expensive for what you getRight now, one of our neighbors is able to get inside a vacant unit and he hangs out in there throughout the day and into the nightNo, the front office hasn't done anything about it

Where do I begin....My roommate and I moved to The Villas in August Everything was fine for the first two months or soWe had a BAD drain fly problemWe couldn't keep food out on the stove or anythingThey were everywhereIt was HORRIBLEIt took The Villas maybe months to fix the problemWe went up to the office maybe times about the same problem bc nothing was doneBefore we moved in we asked could we be moved into an upstairs apartment bc my roommate has anxiety very badly and she can't sleep if there is noise from stomping above usOur upstairs apartment wasn't ready when moved in so they had to move us downstairs in which the stomping above us was horrible as wellFinally they let us move in an upstairs apartment in March and we restarted our leaseThings did not get any betterWe had our electricity cut off for about daysA couple weeks later, the water went off for hrs and when it came back on the hot water wasn't working for about weeksWe had no choice but to take cold showersThe office doesn't answer the phone like they shouldI don't know if it's bc they recognize my number and don't want to talk or whatBut we've had to many problems here it's ridiculousAnd i'm home now and the water is off once againI would not recommend this complex to anyoneWe're paying to much for what they're actually worth

I've lived here for almost a yearI chose to move her because of the "amazing renovation" and believed my family would be happy with all of these "new changes"Since I have lived here, I've realized I was wrongThere is mold all through my apartment that they refuse to acknowledgeThere was a bat infestation that they refused to acknowledge until I had one INSIDE of my apartment and my toddler was holding it! The bath water is brownThe air condition rarely works properlyThen will leak everywhere! To the point it makes the ceilings droopThere are infestations of TONS of bugsAll kindsIncluding termites which once again was not acknowledged until their nest was INSIDE of my apartmentThey ate all of the support out of the wall and that was never replaced(Which they didn't even tell me aboutI just happened to show up when pest control came) I've watched them put siding up over rotten wood to "renovate"The sewage CONSTANTLY backs up into the tub and onto the floor(Everybody's in the unit) the washer and dryer building is falling to piecesNot to mention it's insanely expensive to use and half of them don't even work and if they do your clothes will come out smelling like mildewThey refuse to give me an up to date fire extinguisherMy first week here the pipes busted and it ruined a lot of my sons things and they didn't replace itNow my refrigerator went out and they locked the door during business hours without a sign and refuse to return any of my phone calls about it and all of my food is ruinedSo who even knows when I'll have a working refrigeratorOverall I'm very disappointed because of the amount of money I pay monthlyAlso I believe I've been very upfront and professional with them about these problems and they don't even have the respect to give me a call back about my refrigerator
