77027   Re:      Complaint ID [redacted]   Dear Dispute Resolution Team:   This is in response to the complaint American Workers Insurance Services, Inc. (AWIS) recently received regarding [redacted]. [redacted] called AWIS on April 23, 2015 to cancel her membership.  During the recorded call, [redacted] expressed her desire to cancel her membership with AWIS but to keep her independent marketing associate (IMA) status with AWIS and therefore the customer service representative [redacted] spoke with gave [redacted] instructions on faxing in a signed cancellation letter in order to cancel her membership.  [redacted]'s member cancellation letter was received by AWIS and her membership was immediately cancelled and no further membership charges were made. AWIS had no indication that [redacted] wanted to also cancel her IMA account.  However, as a courtesy, AWIS has refunded $58.00 to [redacted] account for the IMA charges.
