Contact Name and Title: [redacted] Contact Phone: [redacted] Contact Email: [redacted] in response to this complaintThis vehicle came in with an ac noise in the compressorwe fixed the compressor and never had anymore issues with thatupon changing the compressor we saw that the wireing system had been chewed by ratsThis problem created various problems for us as an installeronce the wireing system gets compromised it can cause many shorting issues ectwe advised mr plant to contact his insurance company to repair the wireing systemwe also did inform him that the wiring issue can cause problems with other parts of the system He contacted the insurance company who paid for us to replace the wiring harness upon which I said I would give him a discount of 20%.so that he would actually get money backHe mentioned a problem he was having with the rear ac to which I told him the bad wireing could have shorted one of the switches and instead of me charging him diagnostic fees and then repairing it, that I would just by pass the switches, which took hours, that I would not charge him the $for the labor to bypass it, a value greater than the 20%, and it worked just fineso he receive 10% off plus no charge for the dollars to bypass the rear ache never paid a dime for any of that other work in fact he got money back from the insurance co I have tried to work with mr plant even though the wire issues were not our faultnor do I believe we had anything to do with the other minor ac problems caused by the wireingwhen mr plant started becoming combative I never raised my voice always said I would work with him, but the last time he came in I honestly felt that no matter what I could do for him anymore he kept pushing to escalate an argument by insulting my character and I do admit I did chuckle and tell him I felt like all he is doing is trying to cause an argumentI told if he would like to take it to another shop and if they feel we are responsible for any failed repair that we would take care of itHe then came back saying another shop told him the compressor was bad and with no question I put another one in for him no chargeI thought at that point he may have been happy, however he decided to file this complaint and post it on yelp

This problem created various problems for us as an installer. once the wireing system gets compromised it can cause many shorting issues ect. we advised mr plant to contact his insurance company to repair the wireing system. we also did inform him that the wiring issue can cause problems with other parts of the system.
He contacted the insurance company who paid for us to replace the wiring harness upon which I said I would give him a discount of 20%.so that he would actually get money back.
