Items missing from home
Had these guys do the work in the house, regretting it to this day. Sloppy work through out the house. One example was that they replaced the lights in the kitchen with fluorescents. There was a gap between the recess trim and the ceiling and that gap was caulked. Caulked? VERY sloppy and unattractive! Simply get a trim piece that fits. And to top it off the was tools missing from the basement. When it was brought to their attention I got an attitude. Wish I could undo everything

I had an inspector over to confirm necessary issues were completed, when it came to my wall oven, it showed I had a gas leak, gas company came, checked, said there was *no problem* with the gas...until the inspector asked them to use another gas checking device, they got it out of the van, came back, then confirmed it was a gas leak..they shut off the gas line...the inspector said there should be no problem getting a replacement wall oven from comfort partners...they (comfort partners) had john come and check the wall oven, he said, they would approve it and he would install it. that was 12/05, I have been calling comfort partners every week asking about the situation, they inform me that NJNG co. has not yet brought this on in their meeting.. I keep getting the run around from comfort partners stating their hands are tied, waiting for approval from NJNG... I am in need of my oven , I am a low-income family , I beseech you to approve this item.

My Cousin had NJ Comfort Partners and her experience prompted me to call. On Feb 19th we had an Appointment between 12- 2 and they were here at 12 which was a good sign. The two gentlemen were Paul and Bill they covered from attic to our basement and gave us detailed information on each and every step. We were very impressed and for my Husband to be impressed that takes a lot. They were efficient, knowledgeable and personal. We now await their recommendations for someone to check out our heating unit in particular especially in this weather. Thank you NJ Comfort Partners we are looking forward to the completed results.

I spoke to a lovely woman in the North Jersey Office by the name of Julia at 908-977-9999 who I was referred to by the State Of N J Public Utilitiies office Trenton NJ who handles those citizens of NJ eligable for LIFELINE Services thr PAAD, USF Funding ,LIHEAP assistance questions. My heating system was rebuilt in 2006 but the workers were only alloted so much time and wefe unable to check my A/C services .My condo was built in 1984 and when I purchased the unit everything was the same as it was in 1984 but older and and some of the appliances were not running at all. The next morning I woke up on Easter Sunday to a 46° degree home. Through out the years every time it turned cold for the first time that year my cat and I would huddle toghether as long as the warrany was good which I believe was 5 years. I began having serious problems in 2014 , 2015, 2016 ,2017, last winter I was finally able to replace a bathroom commode from Home Depot and the service was well ... for the install charge of $420 for a $120 part plus $ 65 additional for the part that keeps the toilet even . Mine was the original piece and rusted and gross . For $65 yes replace the little funnel shape piece that sits under the toilet and allows the water. to go down into the sewer without any problems. The new piece stopped the black insects with the hooks on the end of their head from coming up out of old one . I finally remembefed to add the labor and parts coverage on my monthly bill after my heater was inspected and it passed to have basic coveage. On 11-21 - 18 I woke up to cold air coming out of the ceiling and the heater would not turn off. When PSE+ G came they looked at it and 25 min later came in with a written warning I had 2 weeks to repair the heater. There is a big Red Ticket on my heater that the township inspected and passed , PSE&G has repaired the unit and replaced parts , both the N.J Confort Partners looked at it in 2011 and no.one noticed the damper was missing . Because of that part being missing during the rebuild in April 2006 , I was informed it is not covered by PSE& G and running the heater without.is unsafe and in violation of city codes and PSE& G codes .Why didnt any one tell me that was the proplem causing my parts to go bad? I didnt mean to be so upset while speaking with thd State of NJ Board of Utilities but thd gentleman allowed me to speak my mind.. I told him in Jan 2017 when my heaters induser went I called Camden County O..E.O. where you send in your aplplication for LIHEAP assistance .It averages about $240 a winter by keeping my thermostat at 69°. When I called the NJ 211 answered and I had my ulitly bill with the date of my 2018 payment for both LIHEAP and PAAD. I told them the heater needed to be checked out and that I had recently paid out $5,000 in unexpected bills and it was 48 ° in my house . My 16 year old cat passed away on the 7th of Jan and today was the 22nd . I had no idea when it acutally stopped running but smelled the part burning this morning . Was there anyway they could hell.me as my SSDI check would not be in until.Feb 3 . The Office of Communith Services had no record of my name in theif system . Two weeks later my Life!ine cell phone thur Safe!ink was disconnected. They too called to verify my name in the progrram and instead of te!ling them tbey just moved
up there they said I was not in thr system Since I qual.ified thru LIHEAP I lost my cell phone service .It wasnts so much loosing the service it was beiing disconnected without notice from my business accounts. I will never app!y for a free cell phone service even though I am eligable for 500 min calls , text and data. I completed an apl!ication for NJ Comfort Partners and had my last inspection in 1/2011. A lot has gone down hill in 8 years and after playing phone tag with Ju!ia we spoke on Monday of this week and she was the od who scheduled the audit for North Jersey and set. up an audit for Wednedesday December 19,2018 from 8Am - 9 AM . No one called to cancel and no one showed up at my door . The only way out of this mess with an earnings of $1500. month will.not update this condo. Its time to sell it as As IS AND let the flippers do their thing.. I tried everything , lost low income programs available to me and I do not have any income until Jan 3 . Thank those who tried to help me . It is just my bad luck ! K.j

Tell us why here...This refrigerator was provided to the customer at no cost through the NJ Comfort Partners Program.  The replacement was recommended because her old unit was a high energy user.  The program participants recieve a brand new Energy Star unit from the...

manufacturer which is delivered by a 3rd party.  The issues that the customers has described are with the manufacturer of the refrigerator, not with the NJ Comfort Partners Program.  The manufacturer provides the warranty on the unit, not the program.
