New Jersey Skylands Insurance

I have Home Owner Insurance with this company for last 4 years. Just like other Home Owners, I keep paying annual premiums but never filed claim. This year, during the storm, my roof was damaged due to high wind. So, first time in my life, I have filed insurance claim since damage was significant. Every roofing contractor told us that damage is significant but not according to NJSIC. They lowballed the offer so much that it is laughable. I am fighting with this company and have filed a complaint with NJ Banking and Insurance Division. Be aware of this company. They will never be there when you need them. I would have given them 0 rating but lowest rating is 1.

Anyone out there, writing this for someone who has had their truck crashed by a NJ skylands..insured customer.
About the crash no one was in truck when their insured crashed into it, and right from the
jump skylands were in the defensive mode telling bla bla bla about what they would cover.
60% yes that is it and no paying tax on rental vehicle nor ins either. Also they are fighting to not pay for personal damages also.
Skylands are not a reputable company to deal with, all they want to do is not pay out what is owed to others.
Not over yet but we will be back with part 2 skylands

Review: I changed from this insurance company in June of 2013 and started with another insurance company. At the time I got my car in June of 2011 every insurance company I had made me do electronic check payments so they received payments every month. From June of 2013 to May of 2015 I was with another insurance company. In April of 2015 I moved to Massachusetts. Shortly after I received a bill for New Jersey Skylands saying I owed them for June of 2013-June of 2014 I called them and explained that I do not owe this and when I cancelled they took money out of my account at which time they had to send it back to me. They agreed and said it will be taken care of and I won't receive another bill. A coup,e of weeks later I received another bill saying that I owe for the same year. I called them again and they told me to ignore that it was taken care of. Today 10/10/15 I received a bill dated 10/03/15 that not only do I owe 4,520.00for 6/8/13-6/8/14 but also 2,888.00 for 6/8/12-6/8/13. I have always had insurance on my car and never had a lapse in insurance as all the companies including the one I have now takes the payment from my bank every month. I believe this is fraud and would like them to stop sending me bills as I am getting extremely stressed about this. I have worked hard to build up my credit and don't want anything that I don't owe to ruin it and my husband's as wellDesired Settlement: To update my account and have me as owing 0 dollars as I do not owe them anything. I do not want any letters being sent to me unless it says it resolved and I don't owe anything
