I bought a very expensive wine fridge from Beverage Factory I felt more comfortable since I saw a New Leaf Warranty as a value added service to the product months later the wine fridge stopped cooling After a long game of being passed *** one entity to the next, New Leaf sent a repair person, after weeks!!! The repair person was there only to inspect days later I get the call that the claim is denied since it was so expensive and they offered me a settlement for 80% of the cost of the repairs
Buy your fridge at Costco They will replace or stand by their warranty unlike Beverage Factory & New Leaf
Terrible Customer Service Called twice Left message for Manage, Carla She called me a week later I was told by her that she would e-mail me the contract and speak and review the notes from the technician and call me to discuss
It's been two weeks and I have not received a phone call or an e-mail My next step is to go the retailer and complain about the service that New Leaf is NOT providing and to try to get a resolution
They don't follow up - Generally poor information is kept
They keep you in long hold ques to "read notes / confer with a manager" these typically last 5+ minutes each. Expect calls to last 20+ min a least.
Don't expect to ever hear back from management
Key things to remember:
- Expect long hold times
- Expect the Repair process to take much longer than expected
- Expect the repairs to possibly not be resolved on the first visit / attempt.
They'll remind you that they also have a re-reimbursement process - you get the work done - pay the repair and wait for reimbursement as long as you follow their approval process. (Why would you get a warranty if you had to be out of pocket at all especially now you'd have to find / locate a service company?!??
Last thing to remember
- They are recording all calls and not notifying callers to that fact. They are working with Personal Identifiable data and contact information that is not publicly available - private / confidential information in nature - IN California this is illegal and I'd recommend filing complaints with Sate DA office for privacy violations - California and a few other states are all Party Notification to legally record calls - New Leaf Violates this with every caller from / to California clients.
