Not only was I treated horribly by [redacted] and [redacted] , they ripped me off financially, lied and verbally abused me and held my things "hostage" refusing to deliver unless I came up with more money on top of the pre-paid contract After I paid again and days later the things that did show up were broken and lots of things were completely missing i.erugs, personal items, outdoor furniture, microwave, dishes, china, the list goes on I would never recommend these people to anyone Using them was the absolute worst mistake I have ever made and one I regret more than I can express The pain and suffering they inflicted on me is unmeasurable

A week or so prior to December 29, 2014, I submitted an inquiry online looking for a moving company to move me from Washington State to New Mexico. New Life Van Lines were the first to contact me. I was contacted by [redacted] the relocation specialist, who at first was very helpful and had provided me with great customer service, and she tried to give me some discounts on my items. She stayed in constant contact with me, when I couldn’t reach her, I would email her to call me back, and she would call back immediately. Once they picked up my household goods, and I paid in full, the customer service and nice attitude came to a complete halt. My expected delivery date was January 8, 2015. Rose stated that was enough time to have my items picked up and delivered close to the date as possible. When the 8th had passed. I called and email trying to get an update on my delivery, but no one answered the phone, nor did [redacted] respond to any of my emails at first. When I finally got in touch with [redacted] she claimed she was out with the flu. During that time, I called the mover that packed my items and he stated that my furniture should leave around Friday, January 9, 2015 and I should have it by Monday, January 12, 2015. I contacted the mover via text on Sunday January 11, 205 around 3:08pm to get an update, he never texted me back. I finally contacted [redacted] (business number: XXX-XXX-XXXX) the dispatch manager, and with his nonchalant attitude, he stated that my furniture should arrive Monday, January 12, 2015. Needless to say, I have no furniture. I contacted [redacted] on January 12, 2015, and she stated everyone is out because of the flu, but when she looked at her computer, the computer stated that delivery was complete. She would not talk to me via phone, but only through emails. When I had called the number, (business number: XXX-XXX-XXXX), no one answers and they did not return any of my phone calls. I ask [redacted] for the owner’s number, and she said it was the same number just dial ext. 100, but the extension was unrecognizable. [redacted] finally contacted me on January 12, 2015 at 9:54am and said my furniture should arrive within two days, no later than Wednesday January 14, 2015. He stated that usually it takes 21 days to deliver furniture after pick up. When I spoke with [redacted] she did not inform me of that. She said she would try to get my household goods as close to the date as possible, and if I needed, they could store my furniture in their storage area nearby in the El Paso, Texas area. She also stated that I would get up to 30 days of free storage. Needless to say, no furniture has arrived. I contacted [redacted] (XXX-XXX-XXXX) (XXX-XXX-XXXX) January 14, 2015 at approx. 8:32am and no one answered.

[redacted], the manager, called me Wednesday January 14, 2015 around 11:37am to discuss with me the situation of my furniture. I explained to her what was going on. She mentioned that there was miscommunication between me and her representative. My first available delivery date was January 8, 2015, but they had to figure out a ship date. The first available ship date was January 2, 2015, but if they had of put in on that date, I wouldn’t of received it seeing that it would have been delivered too early. She stated my furniture shipped on or around January 12, 2015, and that my furniture is in transit. The movers are in Arizona, and that I should have my delivery by Friday, January 16, 2015. The mover called Thursday evening January 15, 2015 around 1:03pm letting me know they will be at my home on January 16, 2015 between 8:00am to 10:00am. Needless to say, I received a call from the driver around 12:32am letting me know that they wouldn’t be able to deliver, but expect delivery Saturday January 17, 2015 around the same time between 8:00am to 10:00am.

The driver arrived a little after 9:30am, and the movers arrived a little after 10:00am on Saturday January 17, 2015. The driver told the movers to put all the boxes inside. He stated to them that they only had a two-hour window, and any thing after that I would have to pay. [redacted] told me they were suppose to re-assemble everything they disassembled when they packed my things, but that did not happen. The only thing they re-assembled was my bed and that was it. They were such in a hurry that they literally unloaded a box that didn’t belong to me. Also, they forgot to download my glass shelves to one my entertainment centers.

As they were unloaded I noticed my pictures were broken, my table was broken, and I don’t even have all my pictures. The driver, who was on the phone the whole time, supposedly told the company about my damaged goods, and that they would re-reimburse me for the damages they caused. I emailed [redacted] my broken pictures and of course, nothing no response, no follow up, no nothing. This company has no care and no regards for my items. It’s like they just tossed everything on the back of the truck and that was it.

I recommend anyone reading this think twice about this company.

Not only was I treated horribly by [redacted] and [redacted], they ripped me off financially, lied and verbally abused me and held my things "hostage" refusing to deliver unless I came up with more money on top of the pre-paid contract. After I paid again and 5 days later the things that did show up were broken and lots of things were completely missing i.e. rugs, personal items, outdoor furniture, microwave, dishes, china, the list goes on. I would never recommend these people to anyone. Using them was the absolute worst mistake I have ever made and one I regret more than I can express. The pain and suffering they inflicted on me is unmeasurable.
