classes over the 8/31 - 9/10 period. In mid-October, we sent two reminder notices of the pending Nov 5 auto payment. That payment failed, and he defaulted on the payment plan. 10% late fees were added on 11/6. On Nov 11, we sent communication to [redacted] regarding pending collection activity. A second reminder was sent Nov 30. His account was subsequently sent to collection in January.
On Nov 17, [redacted] filed an appeal asking for all charges to be removed as he had dropped all classes before the start date and transferred to State Fair. The appeal committee denied his request as no evidence could be found to substantiate his claim. Communication concerning the denied appeal was sent to [redacted] Dec 11.

I have correspondence with your own admission department starting I would be attending St. Fair and not OTC. Not once did anyone from the admission department say that I needed to do anything formal as this was even before classes start. In the hundreds of telephone calls I had with your financial aid department they could never get my FASFA information approved which is why I attended St. Fair and again never once did anyone tell me from OTC that I had to do anything formal not to attend. The only reason why I tried to set up a payment plan before classes started as I could not get my financial aid approved and your own financial aid department MADE me set up a plan.
