Mr. L did a great job restretchin and cleaning my carpet. It looks wonderful. He was on time and I paid a fair price. I will use him again for my carpet cleaning.

The repairmen, Isaiah, failed to mention a tear in the carpet after charging me an extra couple of hundred to restretch the carpet and supposedly repair it, He failed to mention the tear in the carpet, So I asked if he could install a new carpet. He then said, if I needed a carpet installed, he would do it; however, after scheduling it a week in advance, the morning he was to pick up the carpet, he was unwilling to load the carpet on his van roof and said he would get a truck by 12:00 noon. When I called him back after 12:00 he said he & his girlfriend had a fight and that he could not do the carpet install until Saturday. I am an apartment manager and I have never dealt with someone that was sooo unreliable and who did not seem to care one way or the other about his customers. I learned alot from his actions, that he is not trust worthy, unreliable, unprofessional, and very lazy unpredictable behavior. He needs to take responsiblity for his mistakes & lack of action or motivation. He spent more time trying to make excuses for not completing a job he had scheduled a week in advance and after cleaning & failing to repair the carpet properly, he offered no refund or apology.
While the details in this occurrence are one sided, New Mexico Carpet Repair and Cleaning hopes to straighten out the details of this occurrence. New Mexico Carpet Repair and Cleaning successfully completed work for Mr. C 3 times before this install mentioned in his review. Mr C was happy with the 3 completed jobs. After the stretch, holes in the carpet became apparent by Mr C. New Mexico Carpet Repair and Cleaning was contacted by Mr. C to install new carpet because of the holes. Mr C purchased the carpet before asking for the install. NMCRC communicated to Mr. C that it is not an install company. With this being true NMCRC agreed to do it, at a discounted rate, because of the holes, which NMCRC could have repaired if the new carpet wasn't already purchased. The personal information given to Mr. C was hoped to be understood, and kept confidential as it was a real reason (wife, not girlfriend) why NMCRC didn't complete the install. The install that we were doing as a favor, at a discounted rate. As NMCRC is not an installation or carpet sales company. He was fully aware of NMCRC possibly not having the right vehicle for carpet hauling. He acted very polite until this review.
Mr. C is attacking New Mexico Carpet Repair and Cleaning to try to harm the small business Isaiah Leyva runs. He is making a mountain out of a mole hill in this situation.
New Mexico Carpet Repair and Cleaning has proven to 99% of its customer's to be reliable, honest, and hard working. The other 1% of customers are like Mr C.
Isaiah and his helper were right on time and finished in the time frame that was estimated. I had loose carpet/ripples and they were able to stretch them right out. I'm glad I called him first before going another route like full flooring replacement. Price was right, service was great!They were very professional, helpful and I am completely satisfied with the work done. I highly recommend them!
