I am rejecting this response because:I hardly know how to
respond Even though I was at work and my son was in class when our car was demolished- I feel like the person we entrusted our car with is somehow being insulting and blaming us.MrScramm has chosen to now insult us by saying my son damaged his own car (how does he know this? why would he say this?) and that I am "misrepresenting" facts and "looking for deep pockets" Mr*** adds insult to injury. I am "looking for deep pockets" to be asking him to return to us the money we'd just handed to him from our own pockets? That makes no sense.I am asking him to give us back what we'd just reached into our own pockets forto hand him Our car was demolished while left in his care.... Mr*** should not be allowed to profit from his own negligence. It does not matter who was cited by the officer because we did not leave our car in the care, control or custody of anyone other than Mr*** We did not leave our car with the driver of the other car Mr***'s mechanic collided with We entrusted our vehicle to no one other than Mr*** It is Mr*** operating under "Christian Brothers" plying for business and purporting to hold himself to an especially high religious-based standard in his interactions with customers, that we left our car with. Why should he even WANT to keep the money we'd just given him before this happened The "Christian Brother" web-site is full of heart-warming stories of "Christian Brothers" founder wanting to do right by those who may be taken advantage of And yet they demand we give him $more dollars after his mechanic has totaled the car? I do not believe any decent entity would presume to demand more from someone they had just done harm to.Also, just to be clear, Christian Brothers Representative/ Mechanic driving my son's car when it was totaled is S*n "Brandon" Mueller "Brandon" indicated a U-Haul truck and bushes were blocking his clear view of the entrance Yet S*** *** (owner of Christian Brothers) told me "Brandon" saw the other vehicle and went to the wrong side of the entrance to avoid it. If Brandon did indeed see the other driver he should have stopped! If he was going too fast to stop (or perhaps he didn't see him at all) then he was clearly going too fast for entering blind into the parking lot! Also, I do not believe there were any skid marks at all at the site of the collision. Neither driver was really watching where they were going and neither driver tried to stop! Not enough caution was used by either driver to avoid a collision! Mr*** said he finds fault with me for not calling his friend in the insurance industry to help guide us in this process Why in the world would I trust a friend of Mr*** to advise me when even Mr*** is not helping or in my opinion, doing the right and decent thing himself. As far as AAA field representative B** *** saying that Mr*** is behaving "generously" toward usit is simply flabbergasting I only found out that Mr*** wrote that in his report after calling Christian Brothers Automotive ***quarters in Texas and speaking to one of their representatives- a MrMatt Killian MrKillian told me that they too think Mr*** is handling the situation "generously" and sited the AAA letter MrKillian said I was just going around calling people because I didn't like what I was being told Aside from being insulting, as if I am a child who must accept what she is told and not question it, this remark is unsympathetic to say the least. All I can say is- I think there is some major "good ole boys" action in play here Mr*** never spoke to me or my son before drawing his conclusion(??) He never sent me a letter or made me aware that he'd even written a letter regarding his opinion- he only sent that to Mr*** Are my son and I not interested parties in this? It was I who asked AAA to look in to the matter in the first place since they recommended this shop to us in the first place and said they would warrantly all parts and labor for 24mths/ 24,miles But this perhaps a separate matter between AAA and our membership with them I have since spoken to Mr***s supervisor, Eric Grahman to ask that Mr***'s findings be reviewed MrGraham, Mr***'s supervisor said that he would not have used the word "generous" but was glad that Christian Brothers was no longer thinking of suing my son and I for the $ !!??? Mr*** was thinking of suing us? Is this true?I don't know if I have covered all the things Mr*** has saidhonestly this situation is so aggravating and actually quite sad It is sad to see a grown man act this way toward a customer- toward a single-mom and her very decent son Especially when this man is operating under the auspice of Christianity It is shameful and a scam.Regards,
