This dealership's service department has the worse customer service of any dealership I've used. They are unresponsive, unreliable, and the total opposite of what the Lexus brand is based upon. I would rather take my Lexus to Jiffy Lube that these people.

My recent experience while considering the purchase of a used vehicle was unprofessional.
The vehicle was sold out from under me after I was told it was being pulled off the lot over night
for me to consider. I was sent a proposal at 9:30AM the next morning. I replied that I would be in contact at my earliest convenience due to a busy AM work schedule. At 1:30 I received a text stating another salesman was "showing the car and working the numbers" for a customer. My value as a customer was overlooked for someone else. I had little to no opportunity to have my offer considered. In my opinion, the salesman should have told the potential buyer that they would be notified if the vehicle was available after I was given a reasonable opportunity for consideration. I was pushed aside due to the greed of a salesman - not professional, a commission was the bottom line.

Went in a few months ago to have my differential input shaft seal fixed. Was without my vehicle for two weeks and paid $1,300.00 to have a $25.00 part fixed.
Drove to Denver, Colorado with my fiancé a couple months later only to have the input shaft seal break again. Was told that we couldn’t have the vehicle fixed in Denver since it warranted and fixed in Albuquerque.
We had to pay $756.78 out of pocket to rent a U-Haul truck with a trailer to tow the vehicle six hours back to Albuquerque because the mechanic didn’t properly fix my vehicle.
We were told that we would NOT be reimbursed for the rental even though it was the mechanic at the dealerships fault for not properly fixing the problem.
I’m am absolutely pissed that due to the Lexus employee, they not only put our lives at risk, but now we are having to pay out of pocket for their mistake!
This is liability against the dealership for the negligence of the Lexus mechanic for not improperly and not safely checking my vehicle before it was given back to me. I demand a refund for the rental we HAD to get in order to get back home safely. It is the mechanics responsibility as an employee to make sure that each vehicle they work on is properly and safely fixed for the customer before it leaves the shop!

I too my 2007 Lexus LS460 initially to be diagnosed because manufacturers codes had lit up. I was told by Gary a service rep and a mechanic that there best guess was the problem was with the fuel line. I decided to think about it for a few days, I listed my concern in a customer service email later sent by Lexus that such an expensive repair shouldn’t be “guesswork”. I finally took my car into be repaired, Lexus said they made the repair, I paid $2,200 and change for my care, which was at Lexus service center for a week because I was out of town. Within my 20 minute drive home the same service code lights were on. I made another appointment, brought my car in and the service rep, Gary informed me it was a different problem. Among my complaints, is one, WHY WAS THIS NOT FOUND WHEN MY CARE WAS THERE? Two, why did they not inform me of “OTHER” issues when I picked up my car? Three, I believe the service rep and mechanic are being dishonest at worse, disingenuous and completely lacking in transparency. I believe what they are doing in representing Lexus IS fraudulent. I have three Lexus vehicles and my wife and family have been to Lexus dealerships in Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina and now Albuquerque. MY EXPERIENCE HERE IS NOT ONLY THE WORSE, BUT ALSO THE MOST DISHONEST AND DISAPPOINTING.

I am filing a complaint against Lexus of Albuquerque . The issue is that my 2007 Lexus LS460 has been inoperable for the last two months. And I took the car to Lexus to pay 120 dollars to diagnose my car and they said it was the ABS actuator. And they quoted me $2748 to replace the old abs actuator with a new one. At the time I did not have the money so I had AAA pick up the car and take it back to my residence. A month later which is June 18th 2019 I was able to secure a loan for $3000 from Onemain financial to fix the car so I can have brakes and drive it, note that one main is the lien holder as collateral for an existing loan which I have a high balance and the extra 3000 dollars made my monthly bill go up. So right now the car is at Lexus and the man named Rob J called and told me they will need an additional $1700 plus to fix another part that is bad which is the Abs pump. I told him that it's not right that they said it was the abs actuator and now it's the abs pump. To me it sounds like they're guessing instead of getting it right the first time. And it makes me feel like they're trying to shake more money out of me. I let Mr J know my financial situation and that he should swap the abs actuator back to my old one and get the abs pump instead but he stated that they cannot send the abs actuator back since it's been installed and that the abs actuator can become faulty if the abs pump is not working correctly. I am unable to get my car back till I pay them a now quoted 2800 dollar bill and I guess the balance went up an extra $100 for brake fluid. My whole gripe is that they told me it was part A and now they need more money to replace part B. I also called the General Manager of Lexus to let him know and he didnt answer so I left a message with a brief description of the issue and my name and contact number on the 26th of June and havent received a call back. I am afraid that Lexus purchased a part I probably didnt need.
I tried to get Lexus to pull the new part out and put my old one back in since they have a warranty on the new part so I can keep my money and go to another mechanic whom is certified and experienced in Toyota and Lexus. He advised me that Lexus hires anyone who can turn a wrench and are inexperienced Lexus mechanics for he has worked for them before. I want Lexus to let me keep my money and they can keep they're new part but I am also afraid that Lexus will retaliate by damaging other areas of the car after I post this to the Revdex.com

Revdex.com,

We are currently in the process of removing the newly installed Brake Actuator from ***'s 2007 Lexus LS460 and are going to reinstall his original Brake Actuator Assembly. We will also be covering the Technicians Labor related charges as well. *** had the vehicle towed into our facility and we advise it also be removed in the same fashion as the brake system has not be repaired. *** will not be responsible for any charges and can have his vehicle towed from our Dealership as soon as 7/9/2019. We hope that this gesture will resolve these issues with *** and the negative reviews we also be reversed.

Subject: Resolved issue with Lexus of AlbuquerqueHello thanks for helping me resolve my issue with Lexus of Albuquerque. I have gotten my car and old part back. The new mechanic told me that my pumps are working and is a wiring issue not a ABS actuator issue. Thanks

Regards
