unknowingly cause damage that they could not predict happening before they enter a property, and damage to asphalt is extremely uncommon. Most likely, our driver didn't even know they caused this damage and that would be why no note was left; this wouldn't be something they would feel as it happened. We will have a contractor (who we have already contacted) come out to the house to see the condition of the driveway and offer an appropriate solution.
Most likely, it would be appropriate to wait until the spring to fix asphalt that should be fixed, as the ground is too wet right now.
This is not a situation we come across often. For future servicing, as long as your tank is not too far away from the road, it may be a good idea to inform us to pump from the road (as some people know they have soft land around their property and heavy trucks can cause damage that our drivers could not predict happening).
Please accept our apologies. We will work with you to resolve this situation.
