Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by New Pamir Auto Body regarding complaint ID [redacted].Sincerely,[redacted]

The car in question was painted at my shop. This customer came to us through a reference, her mother whom we had previously done work for without any complaints. We agreed to paint the entire car and when it was finished her brother was the one who picked it up and paid for it. A few days later she...

returned and was happy except there were bird droppings on it which she asked us to clean. After cleaning it, it seemed to have done some damage and so, to keep her happy, we repainted those spots. At this point I asked that she take the car to be washed professionally. Meanwhile I received a call from her brother telling me she was not happy and asked if I knew she was a police officer. I told him also that the car needed to be washed professionally. The customer then returned a 3rd time telling me she was not happy and wanted her money back. She claimed we had not painted her car, to which I replied that if she did not believe it she should ask an other paint or body shop. I explained numerous times that after the car was painted it needed to be professionally cleaned, which was why the paint was not looking as it should. Had she followed my instructions we would not be here. She does not think she should pay for the detail job, but I had done a $4000 job for $1200. Since we are a small shop we are not able to detail the cars and we do not hid this fact and therefore do not charge what other shops would have.

Review: I had my brother ([redacted]) take my car to the establishment to have minor body work and a total paint job in late March while I was away. My brother paid $1200.00 (the price agreed)and picked up my car a few days prior to my return. When I saw my car on March **, 2015, it was dirty and did not look like it had been painted. The minor body work looked okay. I contacted the [redacted] at ###-###-#### and told him that the paint job didn't look good. We set an appointment for me to bring the car back and I did so on April [redacted] I picked up my car on April [redacted] and again it was dirty so he washed it lightly, and he also put some compound and buffed out some scratches to the driver's side that had been done by his workers before I took it home. He told me to take my car to the car wash and have it polished. Well, on Saturday April **, 2015 I took my car to the carwash and had them polish it. My car looked worst and the residue he left on my car showed even more. I went to the shop to talk to him on Monday, April **, 2015. I told him he should give me some of my money back because he did not paint my car. He told me I should go and pay and have my car detailed for about $150.00, on top of the $1200 I had already given him. He also, wanted me to leave my car so he could repaint it, but that I would have to pay for the paint and told me to get a shop to prove he did not paint my car. I took my car to he first Auto Body shop I saw my way home ([redacted]) located on [redacted]. He was shocked at the condition my car was left in and advised me to file the complaint, after I explained he was not giving me back any money and not footing the bill for the Detail .Desired Settlement: The Bumper Replacement and the touch up work was okay, I should get atleast $400-$500 of the $1200 back because he did not paint my entire car as we agreed. The Roof and hood are gritty and now I must get this work done.
