Review: Upon entering the pizza shop, I asked for a menu since no prices were listed anywhere in the restaurant. The menu lists different prices for different slices/flavors of pizza. I ordered 3 pieces of pizza by the names listed in the menu. The man did not hesitate or say "we don't have that type"; he put three pieces that looked like the three types I ordered into the oven.

When I went to pay, I told the cashier the types of pizza I ordered. He told me the total ($12.25 before tax) which seemed high for what I just saw in the menu (Should have equaled $9.75 before tax). I asked if the receipt would list the prices; he said "the machine knows how to add. It just gives a single-item receipt."

I didn't want to argue so I paid and went to eat my pizza. As my wife and I ate our pizza and discussed the situation, I went and got another menu to confirm that the prices were incorrect. After we finished, I went back to the cashier to ask if he could explain why the prices he charged were not the same as what was listed in the menu. He evaded my gaze and said that the pizza is all $4.50 per slice. I asked what about "Margherita" since that's what I ordered and what the chef handed to me. He said, "oh, that's no margherita. we have different types based on what's available throughout the day." I then responded, "Well, the chef should tell me that he didn't have that available… but it seemed to me like he knew he had margarita to offer." I pressed the [redacted]/cashier further "So, the prices on the menu, that your employee gave me when I walked in, do not match what you actually charge?" He merely said, "Well, some of the pieces" and then he left. His partner took the menu that I had set down on the counter and filed it under the counter, out of my reach. I clarified that the prices weren't different based on carrying out or eating in; they are the same.

I went back to my table to tell my wife the outcome. As I recounted it, another store patron asked me what was happening. I told her and she responded that the same thing just happened to her.

It is completely unjust that they have no prices listed, and that the prices that are listed are not followed, and that the [redacted] is blatantly lying about his pieces and the prices associated with them.Desired Settlement: Hold them accountable to the prices they charge.
