I read the report from Eagle Services in Rice Lake WI, and they said I was rude when I called back on July 5th I talked to [redacted] and he was VERY RUDE, using vulgar language to me over the phone He even hung up on me before hearing my side of the story so it is what he is saying, to be accusing my daughter [redacted] that she doesn't know how to use a computer is also false, also accusing my daughter of sending a rude Facebook message when it is enclosed that I don't see any problem with the message as she was asking politely for a refund.Upon purchasing the laptop on July 1st neither [redacted] or his father even opened the laptop up and showed us anything on how it ran, missing pen, or that the hard drive was ready to fail We had the computer sitting on our kitchen counter when we heard a loud grinding noise inside the computer so my daughter [redacted] decided to take it down to [redacted] Computers in Cameron WI in which we DID NOT pay for him to diagnosis it, that is when he told us that there was a missing pen, battery was garbage, hard drive was ready to bite the dust and when he stress tested the computer it ran at degrees, I faxed Stacy through the Revdex.com the paperwork that [redacted] Computers wrote up for you guys on July 21st [redacted] called [redacted] a couple days asking if he could get it ready for her when she got her diability check on July 1st and was told by [redacted] there would be NO additional fees to get it ready and running, he polietly told [redacted] that it would be the computer with tax only, the reason she was also trying to get her money back from the dvd driver was because the computer didn't have a dvd rom so why would I need the dvd driver???? I have made several other purchases at other businesses and the return policy is printed on the back of the receipt On July 1st when we made the purchase [redacted] 's dad was in the store and seemed fine to us, he states he had stomach surgery but was walking all around and bending [redacted] himself told me ( [redacted] Toufar) that he had hernia surgery in which is different stories there were told to usWe will fax the receipt on Monday July 25th to Stacy to the Revdex.com, my daughter [redacted] also told [redacted] and his dad on July 1st that she was purchasing that laptop for herself so her mother could have her old dell as her computer bit the dust (mother board blew out - Toshiba) If you have any further questions or concerns please let me know!!

I reviewed things thoroughly with the purchaser, it is evident by the message the customer made when she sent the late Facebook message to *** the 4th of July weekend Friday night as she made no complaints....just stated what she did regarding returning itThe customer would have made a comment in that message if something was different or wrong from what I discussed with her before she made the purchase, not the comment she made in the picture of the message I sent you. Her mother, ***, filed the complaint, not the customer which obviously had no complaints for her request to return it. It sickens me to read her twisted un truths. Another point, she filed the complaint the same day she was impatient, demanding and did not call me later that day as *** told her to do. The first call the daughter was instructed to call later that day and talk to me, there was no reason for the mother to make the third call in less then an hour insisting to talk to me and to be insulting and sarcastic about me not being there because of being in pain, she even re emphasizes this by restating it in her complaint note, please re-read her comment, it shows her character in my opinionThere is no truth to *** being vulgar, he simply has never been, his comment after her rude behavior is far from vulgar, another exaggeration on her part

I received ***'s reply - I can only say that she doesn't provide any facts - She states again that *** was VulgarUntrue - I provided to you with what he states as what he statedshe provides no statement or quote, just states "vulgar" - She WAS rude, that is why *** got upset and hung up on her, she was insulting and insinuated that he lied to her about me not being at the office that morning, she even makes note of this AGAIN in her rebuttal, stating she has been told two different stories - fact is, I was coming in late due to pain, she and *** were both instructed to talk with me later that same day when I got in, that wasn't good enough, she got insulting and demanded *** bother me at home, she was rude, pushy, snippy, made improper comments as stated and thusupset *** - She now still questions my surgery in her rebuttalReally, it's still insulting She states that we never opened the laptop to show us (them) now to run it - Totally untrue, I showed *** all the ports, buttons, reconfirmed sticker the issued previously discussed again with ***, I showed her how to and not to twist the screen, I even offered to show her the device manager detail confirming the system configuration but *** declined. The laptop was booted and ready so *** could see it operational which she did. *** doesn't state any of this in her messages I copied to you, simply states that she is more used to her other Dell They heard a loud noise and decided to take it to Hates Computer ( a computer they wanted to return?) - This has never been mentioned until now, not in either of ***s Facebook Messages or when *** or *** called on the 5th or in her first statement...strange - Conveniently..*** didn't charge them a bench charge or diagnostic fee, gave them no written documentation? Sorry, hearsay or her word for it don't cut it. She now states *** Documentation was written on July 21st? days after she filed the initial claim? The diagnostics would have had to been performed prior to the claim filing time*** first called at about 8:July 5th, called again shortly after and then *** called shortly after 9am, never mentioning any of this stuff, absolutely none. Please send me copies of this documentation. What is the date on the documentation and date and time of services performed from ***? I really need to know what time of the day she filed the initial claim. I already sent you info about her battery claims earlier today, either she isn't telling the truth or *** needs to explain their statement to her of it being from an Acer Computer/junk(first she says used/from an Acer, now she says they said it's junk) It is important I see the Documentation from *** along with the date and time of this FREE service compared to the time on the 5th the initial claim was filed as if the service was performed after the time she filed the claim there is no way she could have put it in the initial claim) *** then needs to be questioned about the battery issue, pen comment ( I already showed *** where the pen slot was (the day she bought it) for a pen in the laptop as previously stated, odd, *** states *** mentioned it (pen)was missing) and I need facts/details/test results regarding their diagnostics of the hard drive. - If the hard drive is bad, this would be a warranty issue and we would replace it free of charge but I need to verify this first along with the supposed high operation temp, etc.. Also, *** made it clear to both *** and *** that he was not authorized to issue a refund and informed them that they needed to talk to me about it - As of today I have never seen or heard from either of them. She states *** was accused that she doesn't know to use a computer - no clue where she's getting this from Sending a message at 9:xxPM on a Friday night of a day holiday weekend asking for a refund (she just bought it before we closed that same day!) when it could wait until we open after the holiday is frankly, rude. Calling three times Tuesday morning after being told That they would have to talk to me (*** was told this both times she called and *** was told this when she called last) when I came in later that day shows their inpatients, reflects the attitude she was in and is very rude, shows their nature and easily explain how they upset my employee ***. Questioning why I wasn't there and questioning my surgery is beyond rude, it proves she was unwilling to listen and out of line! Also - She is making it sound bad that we told her Windows will not run properly on this laptop - Once again, *** new this before making the purchase and even stated that she did want Windows - Please have *** send you a picture of the Windows Licsticker from the bottom of the laptop, it will show that this laptop came with Windows on it, the save version that was on it when *** Purchased it. We told *** not to install the Free update to windows to avoid problem as we encountered and previously detailed (again, telling her this for a good reason)- *** is just twisting this around for her own obvious reasons*** States in her 1st statement "...., the laptop was not used in any way by me or anyone" She clearly contradicts this again in her rebuttal when she states "........We heard a loud noise grinding noise inside the computer......." if the laptop was never used how can this be? One of these two statements has to be false. ***'s statement in her rebuttal "....my daughter *** also told *** and his dad on July 1st that she was purchasing that laptop ..........." proves that she did not have a direct transaction with our business., This statement confirms mine as true, the two in ***s messages as true and ***'s initial statement as false. Please copy me on the information I requested

This complaint is so full of un-truths and twisting of facts - the laptop they purchase was a Microsoft refurbished laptop - not a new laptop, they are sold "as is"She mentioned in her complaint her reason wanting to return it was being the amount of system ram not being what she was told,
this is not true, she was never told it had 8gb of memory as we never received that refurbished model with 8gb of ramonly 4gb, when she called that morning she also gave other excuses of why she wanted to return it, her daughter called first stating (her daughter actually purchased/paid for it with cash, not ***) that it was "too complicated for her mother" which doesn't make sence because the daughter bought it for herself, the second call the daughter called asking if they could exchange it for a cheaper model, (both calls from the daughter she was instructed by *** to call back later as he isn't authorized to do refunds or exchanges as I was coming in late that day due to the pain)The third call was from *** and she asked *** to get ahold of me, when he stated I was home and in pain and that I would get back to her she sarcastically stated "who has surgery on the 4th of July" and prior to that she accused us of lying about the memory - she was rude and would not listen and demanded *** get ahold of me when I was home and in pain from a prior stomach surgery, besidesif I had surgery or not is not relevant, her demanding and rude behavior with my son that morning was out of line, yes he got upset but is wasn't until their third phone call and their refusal to listen, she has greatly exaggerated this in her complaint also - in addition, she states that the laptop has an iprocessor sticker on it, this is true, however, I personally discussed with this with her and her daughter on two occasions, both the day they looked at it and the day her daughter purchased it ... that it was not an ibut an i5, I made an extra point to make this clear and I am the one that pointed it out to her, the refurbishing company sent it this way, I noticed it when we received it and always make it a point to review things like this in full detail with my customersAs for the pen, she knew it didn't come with a pen as I showed her the slot where a pen could go- The battery is not the wrong battery from a different model as she also states as only the right battery for any laptop will fit, this comment doesn't even make sensethe battery in it was a brand new after market one I ordered for it as the battery it came with would not hold a charge so I replaced it before selling it. As far as her statement about Windows 10, this was also reviewed with her and they stated they "didn't want windows anyway, wanted windows 7", I discussed this in person with them both - We upgraded two of these models prior to selling any to windows and both of of them the screens started to flicker and an the touch screens became unusable, this is why we discussed our findings regarding Windows vs Windows before selling this model to her. I even stated that Dell's site states Windowns is fully supported on this model but we had these problems after installing the free upgrade so we reverted it back to Windows 7. She took the things I spent time with clearly explaning to them and twisted it around to make us look bad. I have never had one single complaint about ***, I hear quite the opposite from many, many, many customersI cleary believe his version of the story and not hers, I base this not because he is my son but because of fact and because of what she stated in her complaint (twisting and un-truths) and from what I know is true because of what I discussed with her and her daughter myself. We need a BCB (better customer bureau) so we can see what her customer history is, hear say after our experience with her may indicate that she has a bit of history as a bad customer.To clarify, the statements above are partially from my discussion with *** regarding this issue as I was not here during their phone conversations.As of today, I have never received a phone call from either *** or her daughter directly regarding any of this and neither one of them has stopped in to see me - (I am sure not because I would question their mis-truths and twisted facts and they would have to explain many things to me) After receiving your second notice today I have tried to call *** but did not get an answer on any of my attempts.Oh, in addition, the amount of refund she is asking for is also incorrect- the Laptop was $plus tax, this price includes our labor to update it and get it ready for them, she also purchased an external USB DVD drive, she added the price of this drive to the amount of refund she is requesting. She also states that the invoice doesn't say she can't return it, does every store have to put their return policy on the invoice? Should I question her about her false/twisted statements? Please let me know and advise. *** Comment: It doesn't make any sense to take a computer to a second repair shop and pay to troubleshoot a computer your not having problems with, especially when you state you have never used it and your trying to return it for a refundOdd ... Even if they did have a problem with it (which if your not using it according to her statement, you wouldn't know if it had a problemodd), it has a day limited hardware warranty I feel like the victim because of buyers remorse. I feel comfortable stating this as they purchased the laptop Friday afternoon before we closed ) July 1st) and she (daughter) sent *** a private Facebook message at 9:pm that same night (how rude) asking to return it, her quote "but just more used to my other Dell and would like a refund if possible" - Nothing in this message reflects anything *** put in the complaint to you (Revdex.com) - I am attaching a copy of this message, see attachment - As you will notice, the daughter admits buying the laptop and clearly states her reason for wanting to return it.... but the complaint is from her mother (***)and ***'s reasons are quite different from those clearly stated in the message from her daughter that purchased it.
