Review: The Executive Director, [redacted] has been working on my product idea for my television show. Then Mr. [redacted] promise that NSS would package my TV script to various network if I was to pay NSS upfront money of $8,000 - $12,000.00 dollars to NSS so they can take it to their NSS president to review and then use my show idea to network. The Mr. [redacted] send me out an contract to pay upfront this $12,000.00 dollars which I did not have but I signed the contract in agreement of working out a payment schedule for my television show. Which never happen. I paid my $495.00 for the profolio for NSS to showcase my television pilot and give them a synposis of my television show, which Mr. [redacted] continue to mail the same thing to me in the mail with the same people and same pitch of information. In order words, the DVD and the profolio was duplicate with the same information on it and they sent me out several DVD and other material with the same thing. It never changed it had reruns from other business companies on the DVD [redacted], et. I did not realize until later on that this was a scam and by that time all of my money was invested into New Show Studios then Mr. [redacted] terminated and closed my files. New Show Studios and Davidson Inventors are a huge scam and they need to give people back their money or some type of compensation. Sincerely,[redacted]. [redacted]Desired Settlement: I want to file a legal lawsuit against New Show Studios and Davidson Inventors and [redacted] if they are not in business to help people. It appears that [redacted] may be okay and in the right business to help people. But New Show Studios and Davidson are scam artists and fraud and deceive people out of their money. I never got anywhere with New Show Studios just endless harassing phone calls and empty promises. I never got nothing from NSS.

I am writing to respond to the above referenced complaint filed with your office by Ms. [redacted] against New Show Studios, LLC (NSS). Initially, please be advised that I have spoken with Ms. [redacted] to address her concerns and we have reached an understanding. As will be detailed below, NSS has performed the services for which there was a contract; Ms. [redacted] has simply declined to pursue additional services, which is her prerogative. There is no basis to warrant a refund. Ms. [redacted] submitted an idea for a new show concept through NSS’s website. As with all potential clients, she was provided disclosures, in a printable and savable format, and she acknowledged that she received and read the disclosures. These disclosures outline, among other details, all services and related fees offered by NSS. Ms. [redacted] initially entered into a Pre Development Agreement for custom research services. The service was to perform research on her submitted show concept. This service was completed and the research material was sent to her. These are the DVDs referenced in her complaint. Further, the contract that she entered explicitly states: Following completion of the Pre-Development services, it is NSS’ normal practice to offer additional services for the creation of a Show Concept Package. Ms. [redacted] signed this second contract but has made no payment toward the agreed fee. By way of an e-mail dated 11/07/2013, she amicably terminated the contract. This complaint followed. When I contacted Ms. [redacted] in regard to this complaint, we discussed the above chronology and clarified any misunderstandings that she may have had about NSS services. In summary, she was fully informed of all services and related fees offered by NSS, BEFORE entering into any contract. NSS has completed the services to which a contract existed and payment was finalized. Ms. [redacted] has amicably terminated the second contract before any payment was made toward the second contract. Her complaint provides no basis to warrant a refund.

Please note on my account, on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013 that Mr. [redacted] contacted me concerning this complaint against NSS. Mr. [redacted] was upset and mad about the complaint and Mr. [redacted] tried to explain himself but he was upset with me on via phone. I tried to wait until Mr. [redacted] calm down to finish this phone discussion which we eventually came to some resolution. We listen to each others concerns, then Mr. [redacted] gave me additional information about [redacted] Entertainment, Mr. [redacted] the President of [redacted] in New York, ###-###-####. I kindly took this additional information from Mr. [redacted] and I kindly informed Mr. [redacted] that I would call Mr. [redacted] about this situation since our business is terminated and closed as indicated through my email and this second contract. When I called Mr. [redacted], his assistant took my call and she said that she would give it to Mr. [redacted]. All parties at [redacted] was kind and friendly. The assistant shared with me via phone that Mr. [redacted] had been under the weather and very business with cases, handling many business affairs, etc. On Dec. 5, 2013 I received a call from Mr. [redacted] in this morning between 10am-10:30am, on the same day from NSS. And I spoke with Mr. [redacted] and shared my concerns with Mr. [redacted] about NSS that I already paid about $495.00 (500.00) to sell my idea of my show to NSS then NSS wants another $12,000.00 with only 3 options of payments and NSS wants up front money to do the entire production of the show then NSS will go to famous networks and wait to see if I am good enough to air my tv pilot and possibly land an network contract. Which never happen. Because NSS is a fraud and they know it. Mr. [redacted] is very aggressive and slick in his presentation is very deceiving and misrepresentation through out the NSS DVD all look alike with the same business people, etc. Mr. [redacted] said to me via by phone that he was going to talk with [redacted] to see what can be done. And I told Mr. [redacted] that this business is terminated and closed and I really do not see any real need to go any further with NSS except that NSS is working with individuals and not big time corporation that can GIVE NSS big money to sell shows and ideas. I am a small individual(consumer-citizen) with little money and time to be waiting with NSS. New Show Studios realize that they are working with individual(s) which is more of a RISK for any individual to give all of my hard earn money away with very little hope of any return on my investment. [redacted], Mr. [redacted] and myself ended our conversation on a positive note and I wish [redacted] and NSS best wishes. Please let my information show nothing but the truth so help me God.
