This management office should be investigated for their negligent business practicesI have been a tenant with this company for several years and over the years they have made countless mistakes when it comes to documenting rent paymentsOn numerous occasions I have received other tenants rent receipts and even someone else's lease renewalOn a monthly basis I receive notices of overdue rentI have never missed a rent payment throughout my tenancyCountless attempts to get information regarding these notices go unanswered; emails, and phone calls are completely ignoredWhen you attempt visit the office they speak to you through an intercom system and refuse you entry to the buildingThere is no one that communicates to you directly that can provide information about your inquiresThe office manager is rude and nasty and says she will have someone contact you but that never happensAt this point It looks like I will end up in court and be completely inconvenienced and not to mention the impact this may have on my credit scoreI have copies of ALL canceled checks that verify my position of never missing a rent payment but when it comes to New Start group that appears to be irrelevant

PLEASE INVESTIGATES THIS COMPANY I APPLIED FOR AND APARTMENT 5 MONTHS AGO THE ROLLOVER TIME IS 2 WEEKS WITH NO LETTERS OR ANYTHING....

After submitting all of the required documents that were listed on their website, I received a letter about two weeks later stating that I needed to submit documents within 7 days of the date (6/**/16) letter, which I received 7/*/16) otherwise my file will be permanently closed. I spoke to Rose L[redacted] (Housing Assistant), and asked for clarification as to what was wrong with the documents that was submitted. I questioned why she was requesting for me to send an IRS transcript when the website said to submit tax returns and W-2 (which both were submitted), along with the other documents that were stated in the letter, when the website was very specific as to what was needed. That is when she said I was "aggressive" and told me to write the management and hung up on me. Not only is the staff unprofessional and lacks customer service skills, the management wants you to run around with retrieving documents within a time frame that is not practical and keep the "credit check" money of $30. After discussing the issue with a member of a legal practice, I was advised to reach out to my City Council member or Community Board-District Manager for assistance.

This is the worst affordable housing management organization ever. There employee Rose is an unhelpful, rude lier, who is hated by even her coworkers. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! they are not interested in helping you, just bullying you into an apartment that has been vacant for too long.
