I hired *** *** of New Start Remodeling in July to remove and rebuild a deck at my aging parents' house, after a very professional first meetingThe project was to begin and end within the month of AugustAugust came and went with no progress whatsoeverAs did SeptemberMy repeated calls and emails often went unansweredI regularly had to reach out several times before getting responses coupled with never-ending excuses, and assurances of immediate progressThe deck finally came down in late September/early OctoberDecember came and went with minimal constructionHe has since stopped work and will not answer my emailsIt is now January Finding another contractor to pick up where he left off in the dead of winter will be very difficult, if not impossible
We have paid several thousands of dollars (including reluctantly agreeing to an advance to alleviate his personal finances)In exchange, we have a house without a deck, with debris and building material
