This is my response to th New System Demolition Excavation, Inc(NSDE), response to my complaint
It is not true that *** ever met with *** ***, my Grandson, to reimbursed the $for the bounced check. Therefore, my Grandson could not have given him the returned check. The returned check did not come back to me or my Grandson. What *** has is a copy of the letter with a photocopy of the bounced check the *** *** Credit Union sent to me in notification of NSDE bounced check. I sent NSDE a copy of the credit union letter by certified mail returned receipt on January 3, 2014. The certified mail returned receipt was signed and returned to me a few days later. This document can be produced upon request
*** did call me following receipt of the certified letter telling me that he gave my Grandson the $200.00. I told him that that was not what I understood the situation to be and that he never met with my Grandson. *** tried hard to convince me that my Grandson was lying. My Grandson and I talked again about the check and my Grandson asked me to drop the issue because *** never returned his phone calls and messages to get the money from him. He also told me that the word amongst the workers was that *** refused to reimbursed anymore balanced checks because it was not his fault if the "guys got to the bank too late." I tried to drop the issue, but it just did not sit well in my spirit. It just seemed that I was letting *** get away with being dishonest and taking advantage of my Grandson and the other guys he has refused to pay despite them working and putting in an honest day's work for an honest day's pay.
I did call NSDE in early February and left a message stating that I was deeply disappointed that the business was practicing dishonest tactics with their employees under District of Columbia contracts. I stated that I wanted to hear from them by close of business the next day or I was going to contact another entity. To this date I have not received a response to my message. I did however receive a $money order from NSDE on April 12, 2014, ironically after I contacted Revdex.com. I have a copy of the money order and can produce it upon request. I returned the $money order to NSDE the same week as they are just trying to get away with their practice of wrongdoing in hopes that I will drop this issue and just go away
The only reason NSDE deeply apologizes for the returned check is because I pursued the issue and am willing to take it further in pursuit of what is right and just. I don't understand what mishap NSDE is referring to in regards to my Grandson and them not taking the blame unless they mean it was my Grandson's mishap that he didn't deposit the check before the money ran out and NSDE has no responsibility to honor the check!
My case is fact that NSDE has issued dishonest checks and refuses to honor them. The question now becomes just how many dishonest checks they have dispensed over their "20+ years". And if they continued to dispense dishonest checks while doing business under District of Columbia contracts, their practices must be uncovered for the sake of the young men NSDE targets to hire and cheat out of their rightful pay. I don't believe the District of Columbia Government or the media are aware of their practices yet

As I have proposed previously, you can send me a certified check or money order for $and the documents you believe are necessary ensuring your interest for us to sign and I will sign, if agreed, and return the documents to you via certified mail within 5-7 days. There is no need to meet with you to resolve this issue
Please know that I have been in contact with a well respected D.Cnews investigative reporter who has covered the D.CGovernment for many years and who is interested in this issue. I want to resolved this issue quickly as it has dragged on too long and all I want is to simple be reimbursed the $plus $for the bounced check fee

I am writing on behalf of New System Demolition Excavation, Inc. explaining this issue, yes we did give [redacted] a check on October 4, 2013 and it did come back returned on October 18, 2013 in which [redacted] came to our yard located [redacted], and gave us the returned check and [redacted]...

[redacted] our Operational Manager did reimbursed [redacted] and I [redacted], President of NSD&E was present when **. [redacted] reimbursed [redacted] for the $200.00. Yes I did speak to [redacted]. [redacted] once I received her certified letter explaining to us about the the returned check, I also informed [redacted]. [redacted] that we took care of the check and she said that her grandson [redacted] never informed her and she said okay.  I did received a call from [redacted]. [redacted] in February 2014 informing me to send her, her returned check fee since she had to pay fee and which she gave me her address.  April 10, 2014 I sent her $10.00 money order which I thought she asked for but I see it was $15.00, I believe we still owe her $5.00.  I will pick up another money order for the remaining of the balance and will forward it to her by mail.  We extend our deepest apology for the returned check, but I will not be liable for the mishap with her grandson and will not take the blame for it.  As for us being in business for 20+ years it will look bad for us to issue dishonest checks because we will be out of business.
