I am writing on behalf of New System Demolition Excavation, Incexplaining this issue, yes we did give [redacted] a check on October 4, and it did come back returned on October 18, in which [redacted] came to our yard located [redacted] **, and gave us the returned check and [redacted] [redacted] our Operational Manager did reimbursed [redacted] and I [redacted] , President of NSD&E was present when ** [redacted] reimbursed [redacted] for the $Yes I did speak to *** [redacted] once I received her certified letter explaining to us about the the returned check, I also informed *** [redacted] that we took care of the check and she said that her grandson [redacted] never informed her and she said okay I did received a call from *** [redacted] in February informing me to send her, her returned check fee since she had to pay fee and which she gave me her address April 10, I sent her $money order which I thought she asked for but I see it was $15.00, I believe we still owe her $ I will pick up another money order for the remaining of the balance and will forward it to her by mail We extend our deepest apology for the returned check, but I will not be liable for the mishap with her grandson and will not take the blame for it As for us being in business for 20+ years it will look bad for us to issue dishonest checks because we will be out of businessIf you have any additional question please contact meSincerely, [redacted] President
