New Tek Auto Repair

Review: In Feb 2013 I needed a smog cert. Was told I needed the Cat Conv replaced. I had it replaced at a local repair shop. I then had it smogged at [redacted] (same location as New Tek Auto Repair) The owner [redacted] said that the Cat Conv needed to be replaced again. New Tek Auto replaced the Cat Conv and smogged the car. Jump ahead to Feb 2015 went back to [redacted], who would not smog it due to engine light on. Took car to another repair shop was told code P0420 bank 1 was the problem. They replaced the rear oxygen sensor but said if light comes back on it is the Cat Conv. Light came back on with same code (P0420). I was told to take it back to New Tek Auto and have them replace the Cat Conv. Went back to New Tek Auto with repair order and Cat Conv warranty cert. Was told the owner [redacted] needs to authorize replacement. Left numinous messages with no return call. Visited shop, owner is never available. Left numinous notes at repair shop to call me back, still no call back. I don't have the money to have the Cat Conv replaced for a 3rd time when under warranty.Desired Settlement: Replace Cat Conv that is under Warranty
