Review: Newburgh Power repaired my snow blower. When I returned home from work on the evening of the day that the snow blower was delivered to my home, I saw that my lawn tractor/zero turn mower had been moved, apparently to place the snow blower under the deck. The mower was not returned to the place where it had been parked. The mower has not been started in approximately three years and when I inquired about having it serviced last year, the person I spoke to at Newburgh Power told me not to start the engine, since old gas and/or oil could damage the engine; I chose to hire a lawn service. I therefore believe that the delivery person started the mower to gain easier access to the area under the deck and that the mower stalled out when he tried to move it and could not be moved any further. At a minimum, the mower now needs to be serviced to determine if the engine was damaged. Newburgh Power is telling me that their driver did not move the mower - either I did or one of my neighbors did. I did not touch the mower and do not even know my neighbors, so I have no reason to believe they would come onto my property and move the mower. Prior to this incident, the mower has been parked in the same place, without incident, since I purchased it about five years ago.Desired Settlement: I believe Newburgh Power should take responsibility for starting my mower without my permission and either service the mower so that it is returned to me in running condition or reimburse me for the cost of having it serviced elsewhere.
