Review: New World Entertainment in East Elmhurst NY advertised on [redacted] bartending training school, I scheduled an appointment Sept **,2013 at 5pm. [redacted] was the representative I spoke with her there at NEW AGE ENTERTAINMENT BARTENDING SCHOOL. She said she would train me, but she asked for $250 dollar registration fee, she presented no contract at the beginning of our conversation, and I asked her If the school was going to train me, she said yes. So she took my money $250 dollars, came back with a certificate of mixology, and a receipt she said that is recognized by the State of NY as bartenders certificate. So she explained that the money was non refundable, and I said I will only agree to the terms as long as your school trains me, she said yes they will. so I said you better train me I just paid you for registration. she said mail me your resume, and I will send you on Job interviews for bartending, but I said to [redacted] you have not trained me you only gave me certificate a menu of drinks, and receipt this does not qualify as bartending training. Nobody at New Age Entertainment Bartending School has trained me to be a bar tender, your only printing bartending certifications with no training whatsoever. So she said she will not give my money back, after I asked her my refund. today is Sept ** 2013. I told [redacted] I found a legitimate Bartending school in Austria Queens, that I want my money back the $250 dollars. She said she will not refund my money. I paid them in cash I have a receipt.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund from NEW AGE ENTERTAINMENT BARTENDING SCHOOL THEY ARE SCAMMING THE PUBLIC INTO BELIEVING THEY ARE A LEGITIMATE BARTENDING SCHOOL, when all they are doing is printing bar tending certificates, and sending people on job interviews with no formal training in bartending subject matter. this is a major scam alert.

Review: I paid money for bartending license and for job search for New world age entertainment company, but I did not get any job. Therefor this company did not contacted with me it's employees were rude. One employee who's name [redacted] were searching job for me, but when she quit nobody informed me and nobody gave contacts for job interview. Moreover I paid 300 for license and job search this sum was divided into 2 receipts because I was with my friend from Kazakhstan. Company gave us discount and took my 50 dollars to pay for my friends license, because he did not had enough money. This friend came back to his country, but agency did not gave back his money.Desired Settlement: New World age entertainment company have to give me back my paid money 300 dollars and pay me compensation of failure of contract and broken expectations. Compensation is 1000 dollars. This sum is reasonable because agency were informed about my experience as bartender and other things like that I am J-1 visa student who can stay and and work in USA till October *. By given information New world age entertainment company told me that I have reasonable chances to get up to 300 dollars per day working as bartender without experience. Moreover I felt depressed and nervous because I had to call them almost every day to get news about my situation, but usually I was unable to talk with them, because nobody answered phone or employee who answered were not competent enough to give me information about my situation and they during my explanations just hang out the phone and I needed to call again.

Review: I went to this agency to obtain a bartending license. In the contract/Receipt it states that they will provide "One time job placement" and "3 time referal limit". I have recieved my license on 5/** since then I have been contacting the establishment at least twice a week and I keep getting a run around. They keep claiming the "person" that does the placement is never avalible.I have spent $250 for this contract that has not been fufilled and as of this point I would like a refund since im never going to get the job placementDesired Settlement: I would like a refund

Review: This company advertise that there's no experience necessary to work as a bartender. You can work as a bartender. They will have you come in and meet someone named [redacted] or [redacted]. Sal states that you have the personality and the look and should start making money as a bartender. You are asked to pay $200.00 to receive a piece of paper that reads: NYC Empire Security & Mixology Service Certified Mixology Service Awarded to (YOUR NAME)For Creation of Recipe Mixology services. You do not receive any training and they send you on jobs that have been advertised on [redacted]. The ad is misleading.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the $200 back because they send you out for positions that require experience and they do not offer training for bartender work.

Review: This business claims that they can get you a job as a bartender or security and that there licensed by the state of New York to teach bartending & security services. They get you by telling you at first you must pay $250 to earn your certificate & the same day they'll send you off to a job which is false.Desired Settlement: For a refund of my money as well to shut down this organization that frauds innocent people out of there money who are looking for jobs
