I placed an order on the phone and for some reason, my order was cancelled and they never notified me I am waiting for a dress for my sons wedding and when I didn't receive it, I called customer service They told me the email I provided was not the correct email but after verifying who I was, still they would not provide me with the email they have on file I only have one email address

contacted ny and company again, they told me they weren't responsible for the...

package because it was delivered. I contacted [redacted], they said tha[redacted] signed the paper to leave the package at the door. I live in a 20 unit apartment building.I requested a copy of the paper signed supposedly by me , the paper they emailed me was a paper confirming the delivered at the door. Which door? No specific was given. I called [redacted] again and I put a complaint of package lost, they said they were going to do an investigation that in 8 business days someone was going to get back to me. They never did. I called [redacted] again, the operator said they are not responsible for sharing their findingswith me (about the lost package) but the merchant was. I called NY and Company last week, the operator told me that I needed to speak to a supervisor. I left my number for them to call me. I haven't heard from NY and Company yet. Neither NY and a company or [redacted] has own responsability for the lost package, meanwhile I paid for the merchandise and I do not have it.

I used to shop New York and Company about 10 years ago, faithfully (with a NY&CO credit card). I stopped and I could not remember why. I returned to shopping at the store earlier this year and now I remember why I stopped shopping.
The marketing is deceitful and I will report this to the Revdex.com.
My issues:
1. I purchased a blazer during one trip and during a promotion (50% off) I was going to purchase the same blazer but different color and realized that the price increased about $20.
2. I had a coupon that I wanted to use before it expired. I tried two consecutive weekends to use the coupon and I was told both times that the store is having a store-wide sale and the coupon would not be honored. The last weekend that I went, the coupon expired that Monday (or possibly Tuesday).
3. I have numerous experiences where the coupon can be used but the coupon is not valid in about 75% of the store items.
4. Today I went to use my City Cash $120 and again, in about 50% of the store it was not valid (NY Deals). The signs in the store were confusing. I could not tell which items were Buy 1, get the other 50% off and NY Deals. I told the sales associate 3 different times that the signs said different sales for the same item, different color in different parts of the store. I finally settled on 2 items (that same blazer that I wanted), thinking that I could use my $120 City Cash. Please note that I wanted a third item but the City Cash was not valid on the NY Deal. The cashier said I could only use 3 City Cash coupons ($45) because I had to spend $30 first. So for 2 items, I still had to spend $71. I choose to leave everything in the store, unsubscribe to the NY & Co email listing and never shop in this over-priced, false marketing store again.

 I was not there for the second card opening and the first purchase made I did not even have the card. The second card was the only card sent to me, not knowing what the card number should be I only assume this was the card and that's the one I used. Even the employees told me there is no way to have a second card, so how did I open a card twice like the business is claiming? Also so I could pay my bill I needed the first card number and when I went to this location they did not file my receipt so I could pay on this card. I did not open two cards and because of this treatment I will keep posting about this company

Revdex.com:In reference to complaint ID [redacted], please be advised that this matter is now resolved. As of yesterday, the credit card issuer advised me that a credit of $10.67 + fiance charge interest had been refunded back to my credit card. Thank you for your efforts....

   I find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Received the pants both in a size 10 one was at least 1 (almost 2 sizes) too small, the second fit but I decided that I would like them to be just a little looser in the thighs. As I found out when I called the only location near me (lincolnwood mall), who I had previously returned items that didn't fit since sizing can vary greatly. They have turned to an outlet store and do not take online returns anymore. I live in Chicago the third largest city in the country and the only two actual stores are now at [redacted] park (the farest west point of Chicago, literally the street farther west is no longer Chicago but the suburbs. And the other location is riverside, il; almost an hour from Chicago. I already ordered the next size up online in both pairs, paid shipping yet again and one of the pairs literally went on sale for $10 less the following morning. Upon reading your online return policy, it stated that it would take one to two months for me to get my money back!!! I thought that must be incorrect and called your customer service to verify and was told the same thing. That is beyond ridiculous! You have basically NO locations where these items can be conveniently returned and then you want to take two months to reimburse me, that is crazy! This makes the second horrible experience with your company in the last 6 months! The first was this past fall when I ordered a skirt from the Eva mendes collection (which tends to run smaller than all of your other items, you should state on your website btw!) had the skirt be a little tight so I quickly ordered a replacement since your website said there were a few left in my size. Placed the order a 6:30am CST on a Friday, received my order confirmation right away and thought I was set and able to return the other skirt. Returned the skirt to the store on Saturday and received an email Sunday night saying my item was no longer available. Seriously, almost 3 days later I am told this? I would have kept the size 10 and taken it to my seamstress to have the waist taken out the 1/2", instead I got screwed out of the skirt I wanted. When I called customer service, I was told by the person on the phone that the store with product doesn't receive notification immediately to pull the item and it was sold. This is a lie since one of my employees told every morning the stores receive that information. I had said after that experience, I would shop with you again. It is a shame since I spent some place between $1,500-$2,000 with you in the previous year. I decided to give you one more try because I liked the pants and an Eva mendes dress, only to be disappointed and frustrated again. I will wait for my replacements to arrive, see if they fit and then drive almost an hour out of my way to return the items that don't to your "closest" store. No wonder why your company seems to the closing locations left and right and in financial trouble. Who would shop with you to put up with this when there are a million other options who actually value their customers! Not only will I never spend another dime with you, I will make damn sure I let [redacted] and Revdex.com know so that I can save someone else from going through the same thing! I also will make sure to tweet and Facebook Eva mendes people to let them know they should pull their line and take it someplace else this is how you treat your customers and her items I would still like to purchase, just not from you! Hopefully your CEO sees these so he can understand why customers aren't returning and do something before you go bankrupt!

We have reviewed [redacted]'s concern with the online facility and we do see that she spoke to representative regarding her order that didn't process correctly back in May. It appears that [redacted] did place a new order #[redacted]...

on 6/*/16 where she did receive a discount off all items except for 2 of them totaling $397.61. As a onetime courtesy, we will be appeasing her with 30% off her subtotal purchase. A request was sent over to our Ecommerce department to refund $111.22 back on [redacted] ending in [redacted]. Regarding the $25.00 email coupon for signing up. We will not be honoring this on her purchase since these are not valid during 50% off sale events and would have not worked in conjunction to the promotion.

I recently opened a credit card with new York and company how ever after I used my cc at the same location where I opened my account I get notified that my cc has been frozen due to fraudulent activity on my account the reason for my cc card opening was because I was unable to buy christmas presants I was depending on my ny&c account to buy these items how ever my account was frozen due to fraud... come to find out my account was frozen dure to someone in the store of ny&c using my account to buy a 17$ gift card odd number I know! I just fount this out 12/**/16 so I missed out on all the sales that I was hoping for my Christmas shopping u want to file a complaint to the location in downtown phx az where this fraud happened and how I found out was I received my statement for the first time and there it was where I seen this odd amount I called it it and the person from comenity bank told me this was the reason why all my accounts with comenity bank were frozen

The items are separated out by color. If [redacted]  is on the search page, it shows a tagline there, but once you go into the product detail...

page it displays the tagline under the colors that are part of the sale. If you are just on the initial page and click through the colors, the tagline does remain, pricing doesn’t change etc. You have to go in to the item or open up the quick view to see the split.

 Dear NY & Company,
Thank you for the consideration of the pro-rated difference credited for the 30% off.
The $25 coupon was offered by your company for email sign up which I did in anticipation of being rewarded for such.
I read your reply that it was not sent because there was a sale, but my question would be can this still be sent for usage on eligible purchases?
In other words the coupon should be mailed out regardless of what future anticipatory purchases a customer may or may not make, the the exclusions of the coupon would be applied at that time of purchase depending on what terms were of sale or no sale merchandise.

 I can go and return the items without your consent,  I still have the receipt and the unused merchandise. That's a joke that you put on this email that you will be happy to refund me if I return the merchandise and bring the receipt! I can do that without your consent I just bought it a week ago. Bring experts to go and check your stores because I didn't picked up those bugs in the streets they were at your store.
