Review: I went to this repair service on a Monday morning when my hard drive crashed. The fellow told me he would give me a larger hard drive and have it repaired in a few hours. He was true to his word on timing but when I picked up my computer I noticed it booted far slower than in the past. At this point, his associate mentioned that a far lower quality drive had been substituted! When I protested that this was not mentioned and certainly not part of the arrangement, I was given the run-around with assurances that the drive was equally fast and I would be happy with it. I took the laptop back to work and 1) noticed the computer was crawling compared to how it used to run, and 2) the operating software had not been installed completely (I had to install specific drivers and do Windows updates which took an additional three hours). Anyway, the shop basically lied about the quality of service they would perform, lied about the difference between the hardware they put inside my machine versus what existed when I brought it in, and then refused to adjust the price accordingly.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund. The sales person was deceptive on multiple occasions. My machine is not fit for work and I had to find a different service provider to fix the computer. My damages include a couple days of non-productivity which is very expensive.
