[redacted] threw my HON desk chair down the stairs breaking it, took hours to move a bedroom apartment, lallygagged all day taking breaks out in the truckbroke a lot of itemsI called the owner that night to tell them about how they moved me and the guy [redacted] threatened to call the police on me because I didn't like how they arranged my things in the storagethey put my boxes in the middle of the storage whereas I told them that I wanted a path to get tothey put all the furniture in front of the boxes where I can't access moving them firstWas talked down to and berated by the owners Amber and ? were both not willing to accommodate me and have them rearrange the items in the storage where I can get to my boxesWhat movers will put all this furniture in front of boxes and stack heavy items on top of each other? I had a chest of drawers and a dresser back to back to each other, my tv/entertainment stand on top of the dresser and then this is the kicker, my loveseat on top of that????!!!! Good afternoon, hope all is well and you are enjoying your
summer I hve received a letter in the mail in regards to the case #*** for *** *** and have attempted to access on-line, but can not
Here is my response to that case:
Sometime in mid-June, *** *** had hired our company through Moving Helper.com to deliver U-boxes to her home in North Ridgeville We arrived with the first boxes and she looked at the boxes and said "this is never going to happen", our movers said that she would need about more boxes to make it work She said that her company (*** Airlines) was paying and she did not have enough in her relocation expense to get more boxes Our company took the boxes back to the U-Haul location were the boxes originated from
*** than called and scheduled us to load an *** trailer for her and that she would be having to pay for the move since *** Airlines would not cover her moving this way We arrived on July 2nd and she had 28' of an *** trailer ready to be loaded*** requested all the furniture go on first, we explained to her that furniture is not uniform and that they must be filled in and stacked with boxes in order for their to be no damage to her items Nearing the end of her box we told her she needed more space for the last few pieces of furnitureOur movers are professionally trained to load these trailers from top to bottom and furniture DOES NOT stack in uniform therefore, the lack of space
She had many very large pieces of furniture such as: (copied from job reservation)
dressers,locker,twin,queen,bunk w/trundle beds,mattresses box springs,dinning table,chest of drawer,kitchen table, chairs,sectional couches (has piece and bed in it;the other has pieces),ottomans,club chairs,bar stools,lawn mower,generator,pressure washer,patio furniture,bench,sectional patio furniture pieces,ET center,boxes,tools,shelving units
As you can see you can not stack on top of a lawn mower, a generator, etcWhen the job was complete ***s total was $for labor-only movers She attempted to give us the payment code for $so her company can pay for it I felt completely uncomfortable with inputting a fradulent code and now she is mad She said she attempted to contact us numerous times, we had one voice message from Ms*** and I responded immediately I requested a phone log in regards to missed calls and she did call approximately times prior to the office opening and leaving no message There was call on the call log that was for 4pm and I am just unsure why it did not get to me
In regards to the receipt:
Ms*** is asking for a receipt after telling me that she disputed the transaction with her credit card company I emailed her requesting contact with the credit card company to assure that this will not become fraudulent activity

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I am writing back in response of A to Z movingThe operations manager came to our house and took several pictures of our refrigeratorHe stood there while I filled out the necessary form and reviewed it before leavingI am confused why he as the OM would not guide me in the correct way to fill out the paper workPlus if the form was incorrect I was never called or was advised differently from a to z moving that the form was incorrect other wise I would have submitted changesThis is the first time I am hearing thisThe paper work was supposed to be submitted to their insurance company along with two to three different estimates of the cost of damage to the fridgeMeanwhile I was trying to find companies to fix fridge and *** decided that her husband would find used parts to fix refrigeratorShe requested a copy of the receipt from our fridge along with more pictures and also asked us to itemized what parts we needed for the refrigeratorWe spent hours trying to find the correct parts and then we emailed them to *** the parts include:the correct freezer Handel, the three door panels, and two right door inside shelvesWe did not hear back from a to z for weeks; matter of fact when I called from my phone number they would not answer but calling a minute later from another number they would answerThis happened several timesWhen I finally had contact with her husband ***, he said he would call me back when he figured out where he would get the used parts and he even mentioned coming to our house to help rub out scratchesI never heard back from him nor did he return my callWe are asking A to Z to pay for a appliance repair company to fix the damages to our refrigerator caused by themAfter all the moving company did drop our Year old refrigerator down our deck steps into a bushWe just want our refrigerator fixedThank you,

My experience with A to Z Moving was terrificThe young men were on time, courteous, efficient and everything went smoothly despite some very large furniture

We moved [redacted] approximately six months ago.  Movers collected payment six hours after job started, not eight. After thorough investigation we have nothing documenting a complaint from [redacted] nor our movers. I am unclear of [redacted]'s reasoning for the complaint six months after...

her move was completed. But, at this point A to Z Moving and Driving is unable to justify a full refund.

Alex, Cole, Thomas and Cecil helped us move two weeks ago. They did a great job and we're very diligent on getting the job done quickly and effectively. They were very respectful, polite, and careful with our things.

The code I was given from [redacted] I did ask if I could use because, I had just received it the day before they were scheduled to help July 2nd.  I was never told it was fraudulent until July 9th.  On the phone conversation with [redacted] on July 2nd she stated the amount was for more then what was owed and she could take it if I wanted to give it to her.  However, she did say this laughing so I am pretty sure she was just joking about that.  However, I proceeded to give my credit card number to the helper.  However; I did not sign my signature the helper used his finger to make a line saying it was my signature.   I talked to [redacted]s husband directly on two separate occasions requesting a receipt.  On July 4th and also July 6th and also a resolution to the problem of the left off furniture.  My company, [redacted] will reimburse me the moving expense of the movers if I had a receipt.  However, I was never given a receipt.  I just have to pay for the moving expenses upfront.  
Also, please feel free to contact [redacted] the driver that delivered the trailer and [redacted] who emptied the trailer they will both tell you that the truck was not loaded properly.   I did dispute the charge with my credit card company and have since got the charges reversed.

A to Z Moving and Driving <[email protected]>Jan 10 Good Afternoon, [redacted].     I am emailing in response to the complaint #[redacted] for [redacted].  We moved [redacted] in September, 2014.  We have been attempting to work with her...

since regarding her complaint.  On the day of her move, [redacted] called and said that the move was taking longer than expected and that they dropped her fridge.  I called [redacted] and asked him to take photos of the damage she is claiming.  The pictures that were sent was a scratch on the front door panel and an indent on the interior of the door.  I requested that [redacted] get 3 estimates from appliance repairmen and get back with me.  [redacted] called back sometime later saying that they would not come out without money upfront.  We than had our Operations Manager go out to take additional pictures in November and have her fill out the claims form our their to take pictures and have [redacted] fill-out the necessary paperwork.  After the OM left, he came back with an uncompleted claims form ([redacted] did not finish filling out, she just signed) and came back with pictures that had a few additional scratches and the hole clearly marked.  [redacted] asked me to call around, I could not find anyone who did cosmetic repair, either.  Than we decided we would just purchase the interior and panel of the door, she than said their was 6 or 7 parts that she needed instead of the the scratched panel and the inner panel.I than sent her an email stating that this entire scenario is getting stressful(especially with the holidays) and the customers fridge just kept getting worse, every time I spoke with her. I did not have the same complaint last time I used the company. It was 20 minutes past my appointment time so I called to see when they would be arriving. Just because you checked the truck and didn't see the missing items doesn't necessarily mean they were not taken. As I stated before, I saw them being loaded. It was also a waste of time to put the boxes together- these should have already been put together and no extra charge because you did not tell me they cost extra. Your fault you left them off the price quote. I also should not have been asked to put them together and personal belongings should not have been discussed to me by your worker. I am not a complainer about companies- very rude of you to assume that and say the comment you did. After using you this time, I saw many negative complaints. Too bad I didn't look up reviews previously. You would rather be an unethical company and argue with customers instead of making customers happy. I was asking for a small portion of what I paid. but you need the money that badly instead of trying to better your business.

Second class movers... I wouldn't recommend them at all... Of course, I paid them felt like I was being held hostage with my things... Terrible movers... [redacted]1:12 PM to me Hello [redacted],  they did reimburse me for the move which was $400.00.  They never did send anyone to my dad's home to inspect the damage the men made.  They always had an excuse that they couldn't find anyone to come and look.  Being they are a local company I offered several times for them to come for themselves and look to see what I was telling them.  I wasn't major but none the less they scratched my dad's hard wood floor and put a small hole in a new door.  I gave up on that issue and focused on their man who took my jewelry.  I was only e-mailing a man  named [redacted] whose e-mail address is [redacted].  That is not even an insurance company, it's a computer place.  When I asked him the name of their insurance company he didn't know.  After a few months of this I went to my dad's insurance company and placed a claim.  I gave up and figured I would let Erie Insurance deal with these people.

I do understand that I had missed the deadline but I still wanted to reply.  I just want to refer back to the Police Report that I also sent to you regarding the situation.  If you still have it on file please read the police report, page 5, [redacted]'s statement clearly states that she is aware of the theft and told the police that there was another similar theft with one of the same men.  I never implied it was both men.  Only one, [redacted]. I encourage you to read this police statement.  I would attach another copy but I am at home now and unable to do that function.  I was also encouraged to turn this over to my Dad's Insurance to let them handle this.  A to Z is an unreliable company and I am through with their lack of concern.
