Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The salon owner, ***, lied about pre-cutting the tag off the wig My sister and I both saw the tag on the wig when trying it on, and saw [redacted] cut the tag from the wig, even though, at the time, we thought it to be a price tagI am not interested about ***'s poor business practices and attitude about healthy business competition, except her lack of caring about our cancer patients by criticizing The Cleveland Clinic for establishing such a wonderful relationship with a wig manufacturer so struggling cancer patients that have lost their hair have access to one free, brand new wig to help them with their self-esteem and body image during their fight to stay alive, as well as The Gathering Place accepting (CLEANED) lightly used wigs to help other cancer patients, as well [redacted] feels it much better for struggling cancer patients to have to pay her money for the wigThe bottom line is I paid over $for this wig, and gave her a $tip for her time She has been compensated, and I am entitled to know who made my wig and what color it isGiving me a styrofoam head to place the wig on, and over of her company brochures to pass out is another display of her poor business practices I will NOT recommend any of my cancer friends to do business with her for a wig or hair styling Also, her shop is terribly dusty and dirtyAll businesses need to be able to compete with the internet The way to have a successful business is to care about your customers and provide them with excellent service and merchandise This hair salon's business attitudes clearly show us that customers don't matter - it is just the almighty dollarThe name of the wig manufacturer and the color of the wig is my privilege to know as a paying customer! In response to the complaint the client came in with her sister who is a hairdresser. I tried on several wigs, once she selected her wig, I told her once I started cutting and styling the wig it is hers there are no returns. I never said I would cut the tag. I already have them removed, once I...

receive them from the supplier. The tag stating where it is made , I remove so it will not show through to irritate the client. Most of my wigs are shipped without boxes, to cut down on shipping costs. We recycle our boxes. I do not give them to clients, there is no need, I give them a stand to put the wig on. I gave the client a $70.00 discount because her sister was a hairdresser as a courtesy. Her sister did come in a second time , to see several other wigs which I showed her and to have me write her a letter for her insurance company which I did. She did ask where I get my wigs etc. I did tell her I do not give out that information, it is my business. I am self employed and we have had to much trouble in the past with people taking up hours of our time and then purchasing on the internet. I do not give out that information even if client purchase from us. As far as a warranty, I stand behind my wigs. If there is a problem I take care of it for the client. Companies only warranty for 30 days against any defect in the wig. Companies only deal with salons, not individual people. What would be the clients need to know the manufacturer of the wig?Small business have a hard enough time dealing with the internet. Pretty soon we will have none left. Between the internet, gathering place recycling used wigs and the Clinic giving free wigs, it is getting almost impossible to stay in business. I know of several small business selling wigs that have closed. I have been doing this for 47 years. If I go out of business, who will suffer. The clients. If the client in question has any problem with the wig she purchased I will be more than happy to take care of it.  Sincerely,[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
1. The salon owner, [redacted], lied about pre-cutting the tag off the wig.  My sister and I both saw the tag on the wig when trying it on, and saw [redacted] cut the tag from the wig, even though, at the time, we thought it to be a price tag.2. I am not interested about [redacted]'s poor business practices and attitude about healthy business competition, except her lack of caring about our cancer patients by criticizing The Cleveland Clinic for establishing such a wonderful relationship with a wig manufacturer so struggling cancer patients that have lost their hair have access to one free, brand new wig to help them with their self-esteem and body image during their fight to stay alive, as well as The Gathering Place accepting (CLEANED) lightly used wigs to help other cancer patients, as well.  [redacted] feels it much better for struggling cancer patients to have to pay her money for the wig.3. The bottom line is I paid over $300 for this wig, and gave her a $20 tip for her time.  She has been compensated, and I am entitled to know who made my wig and what color it is.4. Giving me a styrofoam head to place the wig on, and over 50 of her company brochures to pass out is another display of her poor business practices.  I will NOT recommend any of my cancer friends to do business with her for a wig or hair styling.  Also, her shop is terribly dusty and dirty.5. All businesses need to be able to compete with the internet.  The way to have a successful business is to care about your customers and provide them with excellent service and merchandise.  This hair salon's business attitudes clearly show us that customers don't matter - it is just the almighty dollar.6. The name of the wig manufacturer and the color of the wig is my privilege to know as a paying customer!
