dillegenceWhen we were notified two days after the guests departure of his lost item a throrough investigation was conducted both on property and at the corporate level and found no evidence of negligenceWe are very sorry that we were unable to find this lost item for the guest

Review: Upon the closing of my 2 week stay at the Marriott Hotel, I noticed that my white dress shirt was missing. I immediatly contacted staff concerning the issue. I even made a lost report with the security staff. However, there was no formal investigation into the matter. I had to call the hotel late April or early May after weeks had gone by and no follow-up to the incident. I had previsouly filed a report stating that either the room service or bell hop staff had taken my shirt. This claim was made as I had not worn this shirt during my stay. And two, I kept my clothes in air tight travel bags. During my last day at the hotel, I left my suitcase with the concerige and bell hop staff as I was going to return for them, once I was finished with business affairs that morning. When I returned to [redacted] later that evening, that's when I discovered that my white dress shirt was missing. I vividly recall packing the shirt as I had saw it during my time in the hotel. I believe my shirt was either taken by the house keeping staff or the bell hop staff. I'm not only filing this complaint for missing/stolen shirt, but also for negligence. The security staff was provided prompt notice that my shirt was missing and did not promply investigate this matter. As a result of the time gap, this incident could have led to further improper behavior, erroneous administration of the details collected, and malfeasance. In all, I wish to be made whole from this issue and be provided the full cost of a new Tommy Hilfiger dress shirt, $75.Desired Settlement: I wish to either recover or my shirt or be provided the money to recoup my loss.
