I ordered a dumpster. They said they can deliver it on Tuesday. They sent invoice. I accepted it and they confirmed the order on Friday. Then they change it for Wednesday. Again, I ordered a dumpster for Thursday. They said they could deliver only on Friday. I accepted the offer. They confirmed the delivery for Friday. Then few hours later they changed the delivery to Monday. The reason is they are too busy. The conclusion: They are cheap, but they do not do what they promise. If you are limited in time, do not work with them.

Review: I ordered a dumpster for collection. After speaking with them there were certain requirements. I wanted a New York base company. The night before the delivery I tried to call and cancel as the weather was really bad. The drop off was on April [redacted] pick up on Friday. The number on the bill was disconnected and I could not reach them. I called my credit card who gave me a company in Montana. I called and was surprised to learn this. I was not informed it was a third party company. Their website is misleading. The dumpster came anyway and was picked up on Sat. Before we could speak to the driver - he drove off. 12 days later the company tried to bill my credit card for additional Charges. I tried to reach them to ask how they can claim additional charges 12 days later and there was no certified weight when picked up. They just drove away. We filled the dumpster according to their specifications on the web page. Beware of this company. They have disconnect telephone numbers and are not truthful.Desired Settlement: to discontinue their ad online and refund of any addtional charges.

Review: Company provided dumpster and indicated that no permit would be required for dumpster placed on private property ( I have this in writing). Dumpster was placed on private property (driveway) however village of valley stream ny requires a permit, summons received for $250. Company also weighed dumpster after record rain/snow and then indicating over weight limit.Desired Settlement: Refund of $750 ($250 + $500 wages)

This has been an awful experience and I am appalled at the customer service provided by Dumpster Rentals. I was quoted a 30 yard dumpster on Monday 10/** between 6-9 am. I had contractors waiting to load up all the demolition debris from the prior week. At 9:30 no dumpster had arrived and I had no contact from your company explaining the delay. I called and spoke with Julie who apologized, spoke with dispatch, and said that the dumpster would arrive between 11:30-1:30 pm. At this point I had lost half my day due to a garage full of debris, and was paying contactors for lost time. At 2pm, still no dumpster, and still no call from anyone at your company. I called back, spoke with Laura, who was apologetic and looked into it again. The window was shifted to 2-4pm. At 4pm, I spoke to her again, she said that the dumpster driver was in route and he wouldn’t stop driving until it had been delivered. She guaranteed me that it would be delivered that evening and that my contractors would be able to load first thing the next morning. My entire Monday was shot. At 9:30pm, still no dumpster. I left a message asking for a call first thing in the morning, which I never received.
Tuesday morning, I called back and spoke to Julie again. She informed me that since she had delayed the pickup date, there was confusion on the part of the dispatcher and that the dumpster had never been in route the day before. A completely different story than from Laura, and she was rude. I was livid and Julie stated that a Customer Service Supervisor would be calling me. I never got that call. I received an updated email stating the dumpster would arrive between 2 and 4 that day. It finally arrived at 4:30pm, as my contractors were leaving for the day. Another day where worked was delayed due to a no-show dumpster.
This morning I spoke with Julie again as I was trying to reach the Customer Service Supervisor. She refused to let me speak with anyone in management and stated that all complaints must be submitted in writing.
This company not only didn’t provided the service promised, I was lied to, again and again.

Review: To Whom it May Concern;I purchased and paid $730.50 for a dumpster in full on 5/**/2015. I received the dumpster on 5/**/2015 and filled it that day. I called the office to inquire, if the dumpster could be picked up on 5/**/2015 rather than the scheduled date for 6/*/2015 but was told that they were booked and the dumpster will be picked up as scheduled.On 6/*/2015 the weather forecast stated it would be heavy and gusty thunderstorms producing flooding and downpours in the afternoon leading into 6/*/2015. I knew that if the dumpster was not picked up before the storm, the water can fill up the dumpster, soak into the renovation debris and add extra weight. So, I called the office around 2:08 p.m and left a message inquiring when the dumpster will be picked-up on the said date. I called again, at 3:05 p.m. and spoke to someone who stated that they work until 5p.m. and it will be picked up before the end of the day.The dumpster was never picked up until the following day around 8:30 a.m. during that time it was still raining. I adhered to the rules of what to put in the dumpster. If the dumpster was picked up as scheduled, then the rain would not have soak though the debris adding extra weight. Therefore, I should not be responsible for the extra cost of $495.41 and also the company has not right withdrawing money from my account without my authorization. My money should be refunded.Desired Settlement: Refund

Review: I have all email correspondence and log of calls I've placed--- With NO response other than the initial one, disregarding my requests.

Ordered Dumpster- confirmed drop off and pick up dates. The dumpster arrived a day late...and stayed in our driveway for an additional week!!! (With NO calls or response from the company)

When they finally picked it up--- We got a charge for an additional $400.00 due to it being overweight (which, I have NO doubt was in part due to the torrential rain we received over the week it stayed in our driveway.)

I kindly asked them to provide us a refund or even a partial refund bc we did not do anything wrong! The company has not responded after weeks of emails and calls. I'm very upset and would like to take legal action. IF the "weight" issue is out of their hands, then we need a refund for the disrespectful lack of contact and incredibly inconvenient extra WEEK of the dumpster sitting in our driveway, not to mention the day late arrival. We signed a contract, THEY did not adhere to it.Desired Settlement: I've never launched a complaint about ANY company before. Their unprofessional actions (or lack there of) really upset us and we'd like a refund.

Review: I rented a dumpster and paid for it. This business has overcharged me $478.06. They claim a completely outrageous weight of the dumpster upon pick up of 3.76 tons. Originally they sent me an email that stated the dumpster was full of dirt. I then received a second email minutes later that was exactly like the first email except the words "filled with dirt" was omitted. They picked up the dumpster 4 days late. They don't return phone calls. I have called them multiple times. I sent them a detailed email of the contents of the dumpster which, in no way, equals the weight of what they claim. I filled it with my children's old plastic toys and games and cardboard. They refused to look into this matter. I asked to speak with the owner and was told no and only given his first name. The customer service person I spoke with told me to call my credit card company and then hung up on me.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the over charge of $478.06
