To whom it may concern, New York Functional Furniture has reviewed the complaint (ID [redacted] ) made by [redacted] The customer was given days after his delivery of the two chairs plus the cushions to request a free return and full refundWe made sure to start his return window after he received the last delivery because our 14-day free return policy starts after the customer's product is delivered in fullThe customer purchased the items on June [redacted] (all of the items got delivered to him on June [redacted] through FedEx) and we were contacted by him on October [redacted] about a request for return for the first timeThat is exactly months after the delivery of the full itemPer our return policy, we were not obligated to offer him a full refund plus free pisince he didn't contact us prior to that date listed aboveHowever, as of now, we have resolved this issue by giving him a full refund of the purchase ($as listed on the invoice) even though per our retur n policy clearly stated on our website, the customer didn't qualify for a full refundWe take our relationships with our customers extremely seriously and try our best to avoid miscommunication and enhance customer satisfactionPer our company beliefs, we have opted for giving [redacted] his full refundAt our end, by giving a full refund, we have done everything necessary to close this complaint case Sincerely and kindly, New York Functional Furniture

return window after he received the last delivery because our 14-day free return policy starts after the customer's product is delivered in full. The customer purchased the items on June [redacted] 2014 (all of the items got delivered to him on June [redacted] 2014 through FedEx) and we were contacted by him on October [redacted] 2014 about a request for return for the first time. That is exactly 4 months after the delivery of the full item. Per our return policy, we were not obligated to offer him a full refund plus free pick-up since he didn't contact us prior to that date listed above. However, as of now, we have resolved this issue by giving him a full refund of the purchase ($331.20 as listed on the invoice) even though per our retur n policy clearly stated on our website, the customer didn't qualify for a full refund. We take our relationships with our customers extremely seriously and try our best to avoid miscommunication and enhance customer satisfaction. Per our company beliefs, we have opted for giving [redacted] his full refund. At our end, by giving a full refund, we have done everything necessary to close this complaint case.

Review: ORDERED (PAID IN FULL) A SOFA BED ON MAY [redacted], 2015. AS OF TODAY AUGUST [redacted], 2015 I AM STILL WAITING FOR THE ITEM TO BE DELIVERED, NOT ABLE TO REACH ANYONE AT NYFU BY PHONE (ONLY BEING ASKED TO LEAVE MESSAGES AND NEVER RETURN CALLS) THEY RESPONDED ONCE EVERY 3 TO 4 WEEKS BY EMAIL WITH NO CLEAR UPDATE ON THE TENTATIVE DELIVERY DATE. THIS COMPANY SEEMS VERY UNORGANIZED, RATHER FRUSTRATING FOR ME HAVING TO DEAL WITH THEM.Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE NYFU TO GIVE CUSTOMERS AN EXACT DATE OF DELIVERY UPON PURCHASING THE ITEM AND PROMPTLY RESPOND TO ALL CUSTOMER INQUIRIES, RUNS LIKE A PROPER COMPANY. AND I WOULD LIKE MY SOFA TO BE DELIVERED WITHOUT FURTHER DELAY.

Review: I purchased a set of two chairs known as The Cushy Comfort Chair. When I ordered it, only the cushions arrived but not the frames. I received the frames after the return deadline. However, I called prior to that explaining I only received a partial shipment. In any case, the chairs are hazardous to sit on. The design is defective since the frames are a very light material. When you sit on the chairs, you end up falling off the chairs and the chairs flip up in the air. Thus, the chairs are dangerous to sit on and can cause bodily injury.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund.
