New York Medical Support Career Training Center Reviews (2)

Review: I enrolled and began a CNA course at this school on the [redacted] of April. The course is about a month and a half in class time. After which one must complete an hands on internship at a nursing home. I have been trying to set up a date with this school since the ending of the class, to finally complete this portion and schedule my state exam but have been given the run a rounds as well as denied dates from every official there. I have spoken to everyone and went up to the school on many occasions and no one ever calls me back or gives me anything to work with. At this point all I want is to have me money refunded, so that I may re-take this course else where.Desired Settlement: refund for the full amount of $819, so that I am RETAKE this course else where.

Response:

At this time, I have not been contacted by New york medical training center regarding complaint ID [redacted]. I am ready to take further actions against this business.

Sincerely,

As a former student of this school, I can definitely speak with clarity. The students are not being taught using up-to-date equipment or materials. This school needs to be investigated by BPSS and every other state department for FRAUD. The owners only care about stealing students money and defrauding the financial aid system. This school is filled with foreign instructors who lack the licensure and credentials to practice in the United States so they pay them cheap to keep their business going. We had a very good instructor who left because they did not treat him right by not paying him on time. If you wanted to learn he was there to give you the knowledge. I enrolled in their Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) course but shortly realized I MADE A MISTAKE until this male RN came to teach us. This school overbook students in the course so there is not enough supplies to practice with and the equipment is outdated. The class never started on time but is recorded as such. This school have two locations, Flushing and Manhattan, and they operate the same. The owners only care about you paying them their weekly installments. When signing up for the course they never tell you about all these extra things you must get done before the end of the course or you will not go on your externship until they are completed (ie, current Physical, Immunizations, and Flu shot). Our previous instructor, LPN, didn't teach us anything. Our class learned when they hired this male RN....he was the best instructor for this program because he knew how to teach and what we are expected to know to pass our national examination. I looked over this school pass rate of the national examination and I wished I had done so before enrolling. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND anybody to this school.
