Review: I purchased a vehicle almost 5 months ago from new york motor group and the bank declined the loan from them but I was still approved so we tried again through another bank and it was also declined because of the dealer ship not because of my credit ,and I gave $3000 cash plus a vehicle (which they sold) and now they want me to go throgh a bank thats giving me a rate of 19% when it was originally at 7% ,which I cant afford and have been giving me and my husband the run around ...and they constantly keep running my credit without permission or consent ...everytime I go speak to the owner ([redacted]) he insist on me taking the vehicle that is best on his part of the deal........I had to pay 2 weeks for a rental ($1100),so that I wouldn"t get fired from my job ...these people are doing fradulent and unappropiete loans and contracts !!!!Desired Settlement: I want my 8500 (from cash and trade in) plus the 1100 from the rental ,and thats not including down payment I lost and two months insurance

Review: July 2013 I saw a add for Toyota Camry for sale to 9000 dolor. I went to buy that car but they said car is went to mechanic buy other Toyota Camry for 10000.

I was agree to for that car and paying everything in cash or cashier check but they said they cannot sell this car for one payment because car is own by bank and I have to do finance at least 6 month and after six month I have to pay balance amount.

Person who is telling manger and working for Bank show me everything on paper and set me up for high interest even I have good credit history and gave reason because I have done in 6 month it is not worry.

He again deceives me here.

Car value: 10000

Down payment: 4000

6 month installment: 250.52 per month

After 6 month Balance paid as cashier check: 5188.80

No document was provided me at the time of sale they said all paper will be send to you by bank and I did not get any paper in 40 days then I reach to Dealer and he said bank send all per to dealer.

When I got paper it is showing different amount when I ask what is this they said do not consider that amount you have to pay what we decide it.

After 6 month feb, 2014 I called dealer too many time no response and I went dealer shop and there is no body dealer is close.

Bank is asking me to pay 19000 and I want to know how we get rid of this mess!Desired Settlement: want to pay what was I told : 5188.80 + Tax

Review: I tried to purchase a vehicle from Planet Motor Cars. I gave them $18,000 cash. They asked for a Cosigner and I couldn't provide one after the weekend so I returned to the dealer. They refused to return the $18,000. Instead they accompanied me to New York Motor Group where they said the deal would be completed solely under my name. There I met a man named [redacted] who told me he would get the deal done. I provided him with an extra $5,500 making my total down payment $23,500. I was told that my interest rate would be 13% and that I would be paying $937 for the first six months but the payments would drop down to $320 a month after that. I signed the paper work and was not given a copy. This was in July. I finally got in contact with the lien holder while making the first payment and attempted to verify the details of my contract. To my horror, I was told that my interest rate was actually 25% and my contract term was 72 months. That means that I will end up paying over $72,000 in payments and my down payment. I also verified that my contract only states that $20,500 was put as the down payment and not $23,500. I attempted to contact the dealer but they don't take my calls. They are crooks and I'm stuck in a crazy contract. I have contacted several lawyers but they are either not interested in my case or want too much money upfront. This is ruining my life slowly. I can't afford this.Desired Settlement: I wish to have my contract adjusted to what was agreed upon or to return the vehicle and receive my money back. This is downright egregious.

Review: . The Nissan Murano 09 was purchased on 1/**/13 however, that car wasn’t the car we went to purchase. They first sold us a different Nissan Murano but turned out that car was sold, following to that another car they sold us that was also sold. Not by choice NEWYORK MOTOR GROUP had to sell us this particular one which we didn’t complain about but should’ve seen that as a sign not to do business with this particular car dealership. Signs were there that this guys just wanted a quick sell given the facts they don’t even know what was sold in their dealership!! After that chaos our car was sold for $13,500 including tax. Loan Officer [redacted] did his sell pitch and made up two charts for me to select which route of finance I may go with. I choose the route he said after 6 months payment of $259.35 we would be able to pay it off. I complied with that rule and gave them down payment of $10,000 for the car which leaves us with a $3,500 balance. [redacted] colorful side kicked when he kept pushing for their warranty and that I need it to comply for this loan. Which was a red flag for me. I told him no I don’t want your warranty on this vehicle he still kept pushing and I still said no then he goes and changes his words to saying well they will email you an cancellation which, I have to notify them within 60 days I believe and I shouldn’t worry about anything. There was no cancellation email that fraudster just did an act so he can show the bank to get a higher loan than we needed. Also he mentioned after 6 months continues payment to pay off the car bring him Cash of 4,480. After 6 months I call the guy and our colorful [redacted] Tells me 6,750 we have to bring him which, I retaliated and reminded him we never wanted a warranty also where was the email for cancellation? He just looked at me stunt thinking I would forget that. Second thing he tells me if I don’t pay off the $4,480.81 by 8/**/13 I will have to wait another 6 months to pay it off. That was pure lie he just wanted the money In his pocket so, I rushed and paid him the cash in the amount of $4,480.81 have a receipt for that since he said “this payments are settled all cash”. That payment was made on Aug, ** of 2013 completing our remaining balance for the vehicle plus more. [redacted] then said to see him next week to collect the ‘warranty cancellation form” which he stretched for two more weeks I went to his office at least 3 times a week. Finally he give me a letter from the business letter to be signed that I don’t owe any money to any finance or the dealership. He told me “that is all you need to sign and bring back to me and you’re done”. He easily could’ve given this to me from his desk for me to fill up but he choose to keep running back and forth. After close two months I receive a late payment from [redacted] that I have not made payment to my shock I am like what! I call them back again demanding why this money hasn’t been paid. Our Colorful [redacted] says “oh I still need you to sign the warranty cancellation”. I was furious why you didn’t mention that to me!! When I repeatedly asked if there are any more paper works that need to be signed. Despite every time I went there to get the form they had an excuse ‘ oh I didn’t received it in my email yet” more lies till the day I rushed into his office very mad to confront him he hands me down a “warranty form” from his desk .. This man every time I would call he would not respond same thing goes for his accomplice [redacted] the administrative assistant by the way her father owns the place. I’ve called them numerous times every time [redacted] would pick up for 20 sec to let me know “ I’m busy I’ll call you in 45 min or call me back in 45 min.” I did call him so many more times to find out he wouldn’t return any of my calls. Then he had the nerve to say I shouldn’t blame him on this it could go both ways!.. Today I called him a sg for which he called me and said he won't cancel my warranty nor will he sign it to cancel it's been 3 months his been haggling us. Here is a link to review of this dealership every one of them same scenario [redacted]. I will be looking to a lawyer to have them pay what I paid and not the inflated price they have put up. Please please don't let any body else get destroyed by this business!!Desired Settlement: refund check of what we paid them plus an apology for swindling us so many times!!

He falsely included warranty furthermore tell me I am suppose to get an email from the warranty company. which I didn't nor does the warranty Company does such a thing. Also after 6 months of payment he said bring him the remaining balance so it is all paid for. Which was a lie, we gave the payment and for three months after the 6 months he hackle us with random paper to sign in order to cancel. Every week it was a different story from him not to pay off the balance. Finally on 11/**/2013 I had enough of his lies and called his receptionist that tell that sg back to return my call. Which got his attention and tells me you will deal with this now on your own plus he will not sign to cancel the warranty which we never wanted he still added it. Calling the warranty Company I find out he had put a different dealership address also schemed the mileage to 20,150 when it is 57,444 when purchased. I have all the attachment so far I've sent out to the finance company and received from the Warranty company. Also just using [redacted] to check NEW YORK Motor Group you may see that they had been doing this for some time now. Car was sold for 13,500 with tax the paper we have and then the bill of sale he added the car for almost 24,000 . We down paid 10,000 out of that 13,500. he tells us after the 6 months of payment that 10,000 plus the remaining balance we paid him will take care of it on it's own remaining balance which is 4,880.81. We want the finance to be cleared for we have done our end. I will be taking legal actions against him and the company as well . FYi please check the warranty dealer name*, mileage and compare to the attachment you will easily catch this sg on his track.

Sincerely,

Review: I bought a vehicle from a car dealership, 6 months later I went to refinance I placed a $2000 down payment and was told I need not do anything else but wait for a book by which I can start making payments. My new payment plan was suppose to be 175 from 330 with a 7% interest from 14% I waited 6 weeks nothing came so I went to the dealer and to my amazement I was told by the manager [redacted] the bank counter offered like it was a surprise to him and neither my current bank or I was informed. He then said for the new offer I had to place an extra 1500 down and payments would drop to $98 a month at 3.5% mean while my current finance bank have filed a negative report to my credit which dropped my credit by 50 points, and no one informed my current finance bank/lien holder, I told the dealer and since then he's given me 2 payments payments for the months prior and said it would be paid of today but my bank still haven't received it and he's giving me the run around, I've visited the dealership over 15 times when he said to meet him but something always comes up, like he's daughter got in an accident, kids graduation ect. Mean while the fee's are escalating.Desired Settlement: For the car to be payed off as was stated by [redacted] the manager so I can finish paying off this financed vehicle

Sincerely,

Review: I am a young female with no experience in purchasing a vehicle. I responded to a used 3 year old vehicle that was advertised online through NY Motor Group. After the salesman presented me with numerous figures and double talk, I reluctantly committed to purchasing the vehicle because I was in need at the time. I admit I did not understand the terms, but relied on the salesman to give me a fair deal. I was promised by the salesman that after making 4 months of payments of $474. a month that I could go back to refinance through NY Motor Group to secure a better interest rate and lessen my monthly payments to $170. a month for the duration of the loan. This promise was the only reason I agreed to purchase the vehicle knowing that after the 4 month period I could comfortably afford the lesser monthly payment, and had I known from the beginning that my payments would be $474. for the duration of 72 months I would have NEVER bought the vehicle in the first place. After that 4 month period, I consistently tried to contact the salesman unable to get through to him nor did he return any of my numerous phone calls. After having another dealership review my agreement with NY Motor Group, I was made aware that the original quoted price for my vehicle of which was advertised online was NOT reflected on my agreement. I also put a substantial amount of $10,800. as a down payment on the vehicle. Ultimately the salesman inflated the total price of the vehicle, put me into a loan with the highest interest rate imaginable of 24.9%, incorporated an extended warranty for and additional $3,000. of which I was unaware of and essentially pocketed my down payment of $10,800. The total price for the vehicle after the 72 month term is reached will equal approximately 4 times what that vehicle's actual worth is: approximately $44,000. I was blatantly taken advantage of and robbed because of my age, my gender and inexperience in making a vehicle purchase on my own. I am a single Mom of a * year old, and this experience has caused me extreme anxiety knowing that my down payment alone which was the sale of my Grandparents Car and an inheritance I used to put down on this vehicle is now in the pocket of a [redacted]!Desired Settlement: Buy Back of the vehicle to satisfy the existing loan, and return of my stolen down payment of $10,800.

Sincerely,

Review: Hi my name [redacted] and I ‘m sending this letter to you because I need you help with this situation I’m currently going thru. I’am a fraud victim who is being swindled by the New York Motor Group auto dealership (license dealer #[redacted]) Dealership address: [redacted]. The company is charging me an extra $5,000 for the car I currently have now. The fraudulent contract states its $15,000 for the car when it is supposed to be for $9,999. I’m currently financing and they have drafted up a bogus contract with added charges that were not previous in our negotiations. The bank were the car is being financed is [redacted]. The car was posted at a price of $9,999 originally. I asked several times and they told me this was the current price. The original document and contract I signed had on the bottom the price of $9,999. The contract was not given to me even though I requested a copy of the contract to them in our meeting and all other bank documents I signed so I could keep a record of these documents in a file. I spoke to the office manager of this company and repeatedly asked her for the copies and she assured me that she would send those documents thru the mail. The car caught my attention and I spoke to the dealer representative (office manager [redacted]). I told the representative I would give a deposit towards the car for $2,300 after seeing that it was in good condition mechanically and over all. I went several times until they agreed to lock in the price. I'm currently now paying a loan from [redacted] ($233.38 a month). This bank was set up by the deceptive car company (New York Motor Group License# [redacted] Phone # ###-###-####. Fax ###-###-#### )Desired Settlement: My original plan was to borrow a loan form a local credit union that will allow me to pay them less interest. I have been unable to do so because I'm getting charged more than $5,000 more than what the car is worth. The original price posted and agreed upon was $9,999 and instead they falsified the paperwork and now they have the car listed at $15,000. (I live in the City of Elizabeth,NJ but I'm willing to go to NY anytime to meet with anyone if needed) I'm paying this loan to the bank so I'm still not the owner and cannot take them to court yet or if I could take them to court I would like to know what steps to take. Please what can I possibly do at this point. I'm very worried because I"m paying a higher interest rate and the wrong and higher amount of the selling price that was originally agreed upon. Please I would like to know what options I have. I'am beginning to worry because I don't want this company to get away with this fraud and I have to continue to fight for my rights and this case. I presented my case awhile back to the NY attorney general and consumer affairs of NY. It took a very long time to hear back but I finally received a response recently from consumer affairs and there legal department . I was contacted by [redacted] ([redacted]) [redacted] stated that the auto dealership company license has been revoked and to reach out to you the Revdex.com as another option in my case. I have contacted the NY State Attorney General Consumer Fraud Bureau and they referred me to consumer affairs. Consumer affairs complaint number is

Case # [redacted] Please any help that you can provide me would be greatly appreciated! I would like to find out more info and see if I should either pursue this case through small claims court or through the NY State Bar Association for a lawyer and see if they have Pro Bono work.

Thank you for your time! I will be awaiting your response

Review: I bought a car from new york motor group in December of 2012. The price was supposed to be $19,000. I was inexperienced in financing a car and the finance manager lied and took advantage of me. He told me that In order to get a certain loan I would have to sign for several extra fees and services totaling $9376.58 more than the original price, but he assured me that after I make 8 payments on time I would qualify for a different loan and my that money would be returned to me. He also told me that after 6 months I would be getting collision and comprehensive auto coverage included in my loan payments. It's been 10 months since I bought the car and none of that ever happened. He just kept lieing to me and giving me the run around. He never intended to come through with anything he promised me. He just lied to get me to pay for the $9376.58 in extra fees on the car. I have audio recordings of our conversations in which he explains everything he promised me in detail.Desired Settlement: I want them to return the 9376.58 that they stole from me.

Sincerely,

Review: I bought a car at a dealership called New York Motor Group and I was promised by the loan officer that after 4 months the dealership would help me refinance my car. After 4 I returned but they but loan officer was not there and failed to return my phone calls. I would show up to location and he is never there. I finally was able to run into to him and decided to finally help me after 5 months. He was able to refinance my car and even printed out a new phony contract for me. So I thought it was taken care of, unfortunately after another 2 months I got a letter from td auto finance telling me that I owed 2 months of my car payment which was $1,242. I was so irritated that I went back to the dealership and I got into an argument with the loan officer and he was extremely rude not only him but everyone else in the dealership was. He finally told me he would not help me anymore. So now I'm stuck with a big payment I can't afford and also I signed over the title to the dealership thinking the loan was going through now I have no title as well.Desired Settlement: I want the loan officer to refinance my car and I want the title to my car back.
