I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:For weeks you been saying that the warranty will cover it and all of a sudden now you say I’m mistaken and that it’s not coveredWho are you playing games with? We have been going back and forth for months now with the same issues all because you are trying to cover the fact that you sold us the vehicle knowing it had these issuesI have the responses that you have sent stating the warranty does indeed cover the AC and the repairsInsisting that we did not provide the warranty papers to your friend Damon, when we did provide the informationThis is a game to you and in the mean time your buying time so then there’s nothing that can be doneI’ll make sure to spread the word on how your business operatesI could save people money and time which they will just waste with you

The first warranty is for days and is included in your documentation packetThis warranty is called “USED MOTOR VEHICLE LIMITED WARRANTY”We explained this warranty coverage to you and your husband and you then signed this warranty documentation. We know that you have this document because it is part of the paperwork you sent back to usThis warranty has a very specific list of covered and not covered parts and very specifically states that NONE of the air conditioning components are coveredThis is a used vehicle and you are responsible for repairing items not covered by the warranty. Your second warranty is called the ”WYNNS EXTENDED CARE WARRANTY” also known as “WEC”This extended warranty is a third party warranty and is a separate signed contract between you and the “WEC” company onlyThis contract is also included in your documentation as you also forwarded a signed copy back to usThis warranty covers you for years or 24,miles, whichever comes firstThe list of covered parts in this warranty is very extensiveThe air conditioning compressor is a covered component under this planMore specifically it is item #under the classic coverage listWe are NOT responsible for any item or component that this extended warranty does or does not coverIf the WEC warranty will not cover a component on their list of covered parts we do not have anything to do with this contract or this companyYou need to discuss this issue with their representatives and try to get them to pay.I hope you now understand that the air conditioning system in your car was never a covered componentIf you continue to have any questions about this, please refer to your signed warranty documents to confirm that there is no coverage for the air conditioning system.We will not cover your air conditioning compressor under warranty because it is not a covered component. Air conditioning compressor: As a goodwill gesture, and under no obligation, we would agree to cover the labor portion of this repair free of chargeYou must bring and pay for your own compressor and New York Motors will agree to install your compressor free of chargeThis offer is only good if done at our shopYou pay for all the parts needed and we will install the parts you bring free of charge in our shop. Rear seat repair:As a goodwill gesture, and under no obligation, we agree to get your rear seat to fold for youPlease schedule an appointment with our dealershipYou will need to leave your vehicle early one morning and you will pick it up the following evening.The above offer will expire one month from today’s date on 11/24/Please feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience.Regards,-Phil

Good morning ***,I have read the complaints that *** and *** *** have expressed regarding their Honda Odyssey with over 116,miles. This vehicle was sold over months ago on 3/**/Although this vehicle has surpassed the limits of protection of the Lemon Law because it has
over 100,miles, they do have a 2yr extended warranty. This warranty is managed by a reputable company called *** *** *** *** *** is a nationwide warranty and is valid at any mechanic shop of their choosing in the USA.I have helped *** and *** *** in the past with a couple of minor concerns and questions they had with the operation of some of the features the vehicle is equipped withThey did seem very happy at the time they came and spoke to usThey did also mention that the A/C was not blowing coldI advised them that several components of the air conditioning system are covered by the Wynn’s 2yr warranty, including the A/C compressor. This morning I have spoken to Damon, the owner of 21st Century Automotive, and he informed me that *** and *** *** did not let him know that they had a warranty from *** *** ***He has asked for them to return to his shop to work on his A/C compressor.I can assist *** and *** *** and forward to Damon all relevant warranty documentation so that Damon can process the claim with the warranty company. As far as the scuffs in the paint and scrape on bumper, this is a used vehicle and will come with some blemishes.With respect to any prior accidents, the vehicle has a clean AutoCheck vehicle history report. This history report includes previous owners and previous accidents. I hope to have sufficiently addressed all concerns with the Honda Odyssey. Please let us know when *** and *** *** can return to Damon’s repair shop so I can help them with the proper warranty documentation. Again, the A/C compressor is a covered component and should get covered by the warranty company with the proper documentation.Regards,-Phil

Hello I would like respond to the message the agent at New York Motors sent and also provide information which will show that they are not being honest about this situationThe warranty provided us with proof of denial, which is our proof that we did in fact take the car and warranty papers to Damon from 21st century and that we were denied to the condition of the vehicle being pre-existing and not a malfunction that occurred during the use of the vehicleThey state it's been months since the purchase, that's correct but what is also Corte t is that we have been discussing the matter for months as wellThey sold us a vehicle with no working AC and will not cover the costThe warranty won't cover the costThe question is, should we be the ones responsible for repairing the AC unit when we should have been sold a vehicle with no issuesThey also state the vehicle had previous owner, that is also incorrectThey assured us that the vehicle only had previous owner and that the vehicle was in the best condition possible being a used car.
