Review: On the recommendation of a friend, I contracted with NYMS for my move on 11/**/14. The terms were clear that I would pay $97/hour for movers. They estimated that it would take 6.5 hours to complete the move, but told me I would only pay for the actual time of the move.

On 11/**/14, a company called [redacted] showed up at [redacted] at my address saying they were there to move someone, although they didn't have my name. Their paperwork indicated that NYMS had outsourced my move to them without informing me. They completed my move at [redacted] (that is the time I wrote on the paperwork I signed for [redacted]). [redacted] wanted me to pay them that day, but I declined since NYMS was supposed to be handling the move and I didn't want to risk paying twice.

I left 2 voicemails for NYMS, and finally reached [redacted] my salesperson the third time on 12/*/14 around [redacted]. I asked him to look into what happened with the move, but instructed him not to charge my credit card until he had verified the amount with me. He said he would look into it and get back to me. He never called me back.

The morning of 12/*/14, I noticed a charge for $627.50 on my credit card from NYMS, in direct violation of my instructions. Not only is the amount completely incorrect, but they charged me against my instructions. I've left two messages this morning, and tried to e-mail them. All of my e-mails are coming back to me as "undeliverable", as if the company never existed.Desired Settlement: NYMS should refund me the $100 deposit I placed with them, and only charge me for 3 hours of move time, bringing the total to $191.
